Hotel Mayurvan Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I ordered chicken biryani and tandoori from this restaurant today, and the experience was extremely disappointing. As soon as we opened the biryani, a strong stale smell hit us. Despite the unpleasant odor, we tasted it, only to find that the biryani was clearly spoiled and the smell persisted. Even the chutney and salad were stale.

When we called the restaurant to report the issue, the owner responded by saying he would "check and revert," but it was evident the biryani was from the previous day. When we requested to speak with the chef, we were given a weak excuse. While they agreed to provide a refund, they didn’t even acknowledge the seriousness of serving stale food or assure us that it wouldn’t happen again. This reflects a complete lack of integrity and basic standards.

To make matters worse, I discovered a similar complaint was made about this restaurant last year, indicating that no corrective measures have been taken. This repeated negligence is unacceptable, especially from such a reputed establishment. HIGHLY...

Excellent ambience. Good food options but very average in taste. Customer class is premium. Separate smoking zone is not something that everybody will appreciate and depends upon person to person. Staff is not at all equivalent of the crowd or a customer class. Our order came on the table but the table was not even cleaned till that time. Chicken in Non-veg Mini starter (Chinese) was not properly fried/cooked. That really spoiled our impression which was created after having the first look of the hotel. Then came our second order and that was Mutton Sheet Kebab. This dish helped us to be somewhat happy. Moisture level was little less in Kebab but the delicious Green Chutney and the Fresh Salad avoided our another disappointment. Meanwhile after complaining about the quality of Mini Starter; it got baked in the oven as being a Chinese dish it was not possible to fry it once again. Third class hotel with third class and arrogant staff. And also third class service. Ridiculous experience. They will not bother and hesitate to ask you to vacate the table and relocate to other table in between your food for other guests. The staff is completely unprofessional and needs to be trained properly. I was furious with such behaviour and asked waiter to parcel the remaining food and left the hotel and while leaving the hotel, the staff never bothered and was smiling. After coming home, I was shocked to see stale and burnt rotis and without butter on it. I had paid for butter rotis. When seeing that, u could imagine why the hotel staff was smiling at me.
