HOTEL N. P. FISH FAMILY RESTURANT — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Value for money hotel in Karad. Speciality is sea food. There primary business is of a fishing company and parallely they have started now this sea food restaurant. So the fish are fresh to be assured and on a budget side as compared to other. We tried there bangda Thali which was at Rs 250. It has one big bangda fry, one piece in malavani curry, a glass of solkadi, 2 tandul bhakri/ chapati, 1 wati tikhat rassa , sukkat chatni and rice. Tandul bhakri was good. So the spread in the thali was good, also was the taste. The malvani curry was good and the bangda was also good. We also has ordered prawns fry. For Rs 250/- we were offered 8 big size prawns and the taste was good .

On other day we had also tried there mutton fry Thali. This was on satisfactory side ( but not the wow factor). The quantity was good with 5-6 pieces of mutton fry, along with tambda/ pandhraa rassa, 1 small wati of kheema, 1 small wati solkadi, 2 bhakri and rice at Rs 270/- The rates was reasonable however the kheema was disappointing, it has too much of tomato and very less shredded mutton. Tasted more like a tomato chutney. Also the mutton fry masala also had small tomato pieces which should not be present in an authentic preparation. Chapati was good as good...

This the perfect place if you are a sea food lover. Situated on Pune-Banglore high way near to Karad. Nice and clean seating arrangement with humble and quick service. Even toilets are clean and well maintained. Food has variety of dishes with crabs,fishes. Ala-carte with different Thali systems are available.Taste is amazing with nice aroma. Seperate family section is available with well maintained waiting lounge. Simple but Impressive interior with selfie point at the entrance. Even chicken and veg option is available in food. 2. There are thali based fish options. If you order thali based fish options then you will get many complimentary items but only one fry peice will be available.
