Hotel Pakwan — Restaurant in Maharashtra

The taste of the food in the restaurant is good. Yesterday night around 22:15 I had gone to the restaurant and an incident took place. I ordered a sweet corn soup and a starter. The waiter said it will take about 15minutes for the soup to which I said alright, no problem.

In a few minutes he came back to my table and said the soup cannot be prepared and left. I called him back but he did not bother to come back. He returned after few minutes and said your order is being prepared.

I told him to repeat back my order to me to which he said it’s a soup and starters. I asked him then why did you cancel it at first to which he gave a reply about deep cleaning the utensils and everything for the preparation of the soup so it takes up a lot of time but not to worry I’ll get the soup ready. He again returned and said that the soup order has been cancelled.

Delicious mouth watering finger licking fresh food, good service & air conditioned clean dining place, huge open air but covered sitting area outside restaurant & Garden too, ample inside & outside the plot parking, Bar portion is partitioned with different entrance exit & restroom, we ordered chicken & fish both gravy items which was awesome but gravy was same with little difference in spices as non marinated boiled chicken & pomfret fish was heated up with readymade Gravy & served Hot but we foodies found it very different item from what was ordered but anyways we ate full tummy with Hot & soft Tandoori Roti. The restroom was very dirty as if not cleaned from many days, owners should pay attention to it & maintain pest control too bcos a House Fly buzzed bugged & sat on our food...

We had dinner at Hotel Pakwan, Uran last night, and the condition of the place has gone beyond pathetic. The hotel is not maintained at all. The washroom was dirtier than a bus stand public toilet — extremely unhygienic.

This used to be one of the reputed hotels in the area, but sadly, it has completely lost its charm and reputation. The quality of food has also gone down drastically. We ordered chicken tandoori, and it was not even properly cooked — definitely not good.
