Hotel Sanika — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Hotel  Sanika , you may not find it luxurious. It's simple but with lots of advantages. It's an open hotel  across the Bhandarpule beach with lots of space  which is ideal  during pandamic.The beach itself is a wonderful place Food. Home food, not spicy but tasty. Particularly fish items. Crab lollypop , I think is top on the list. Then comes Bangada fry, fish curry. Chicken curry has unique konkani taste.it tastes nice. Love it. Sole kadhi has a spine tingling taste. Though we stayed in a  luxurious resort but we fell in love with  Sanika food. We were there for five days and all our meals were at Sanika. We  love Sanika. We loved this place. Day one we tried chicken curry and rice , it was cooked to perfection not very oily or spicy, exactly how we like it. There on, we had all our meals here starting from Breakfast to dinner even our morning tea and evening chai. The highlight was Crab lolipop, must try.

It's a family driven restaurant and exactly homecooked food. The mother and the daughter manage it so well.

Food and service are worst. It's not an authentic malvani restaurant. Veg food was tasteless and nonveg seafood was chewy and salty. Management didn't have courtesy to exchange the over salty dish.
