Hotel Saroj Dhaba — Restaurant in Maharashtra

If you're traveling on this highway, a visit to this dhaba is a must. I never expected traditional Maharashtrian food to be this tasty. This pure vegetarian dhaba offers an authentic culinary experience that is hard to beat.

Our waiter was an amazing person. He welcomed us warmly and suggested various items from the menu. When I expressed my desire to taste authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, he took charge and brought us a selection of dishes. We enjoyed two bhajis, including the delicious drumstick / shevga fry and the unique malai methi.

While driving towards Pune, this Hotel is almost halfway between the two big cities. Halted for Lunch after reading the few reviews; assuming the food and other facilities shall be good.

Taste of the food is like if your familiar with 'Gavran' food then it will be heaven for you but for me it's very spicy and chilly.

They don't serve Roti/Chappati/Poli in the hotel instead they serve only Bajara Bhakari or Jwar Bhakari; which is very good in taste.

Atmosphere in the hotel is not that great n neat. Parking is somewhat constraint, Toilets were very smelly with Urine overflowing around.

Overall, it's a bad call for me,...

If you are looking for a hotel with Fancy Lighting, waiters in Black coat. Its not for you.

What i like about this place - reasonable price, Unbelievably delicious meal & great hospitality, super prompt service.
