Hotel Vitthal Kamat Khalad — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I think the early hours are slow there....many customers were waiting at the kitchen counter for their food. If you are very hungry don't stop here. They want to serve you fresh food thus they start making it from scratch when you order it...but it tastes like fast food...so the purpose is defeated anyway. After requesting the staff to make it quickly...the fellow took his own sweet time to wrap the wadapav...although i was begging to not wrap it and give it quickly....but no...he had his orders to folllow...it had to be packed the way he thought fit...plus it had to be his own sweet time... unfortunately we have to pay in advance thus making it difficult to cancel the order. Vadapav 🍞 bread is made without salt, it makes the vadapav taste horrible. It was also stale ....The vada itself also had less salt...very healthy but🤮 I had tried having food there a few years ago, that time too it was a bad experience, but i thought they are new and things have to probably settle...now the experience is nothing better.. I would never stop...

We always visit Vitthal Kamat as we like the quality of food and taste and Ambience but this was an exception. The waiter was struggling to take order and messed up one of our order. I usually take Medu Vada sambar and as per my experience the Sambar was off the coconut chutney wasn't quiet right. My sister ordered plain cheese sandwich which doesn't even have anything in it except Bread and Cheese, I ate my Medu Vada and still no sign of sandwich! Sigh.. One thing I noticed was the lack of staff and management, only 2 people in kitchen one at cooking and other one at beverages and 3 waiters just staring at the cook preparing plates. I would really not suggest to go there instead there are many other South Indian restaurants on the way to Jejuri can try them out. They do have Parking and soon people did started stopping since there were a few cars parked outside I couldn't help but just wonder how much time will they take to prepare all...

Very horrible experience. Most importantly what people look for is "good food". Their service was pathetic. Today I had ordered paneer chilly, wherein we were served stale paneer, stale and warm buttermilk in the end. Also our order they got was incomplete.. We ordered roasted papad, they got masala papad. We ordered butter roti they got plain roti. In the end I thought I won't order anything but will buy a colddrink in this scorching heat, they sold me colddrink bottle above MRP I'm the name of cooling charges. I had never experienced such pathetic food quality and service till now, first time I went to vitthal kamath but will never ever prefer such vitthal...
