I have been to this restaurant 6-7 times in the past 4 years. Its always a long gap because its quite on the outskirts and secondly we as a whole big family on special occasions try out other restaurants or hotels as well. Anyways, so the deal with this place is its not very very high on the pockets but yeah quite upper-middle-classy if I may say. It has four different sitting areas apart from the terrace. One below is the garden area which is bigger of all three. Right next to it is a contemporary bar and another indoor restaurant next to that. On the first floor is La' Italia a vegetarian Italian Pizzeria which has its own chef so you know its going to be a different experience dining there be it lunch or dinner. All the places serve alcohol (I am not so sure about the indoor restaurant besides the bar as I haven't been there). The staff is pretty courteous starting right from the parking to the receptionist, the waiters and captains and chefs as well. Food quality is pretty good. I don't remember what I ate last but the captain will always suggest you good food since we have always gone by their recommendations and haven't had a bad experience. Waiting for the next time when I will be...
Read moreI recently visited Hotel Madhuban and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The overall quality of the food was disappointing, with several notable issues:
Poor Quality Paneer: The paneer dishes served lacked freshness and tasted stale. The texture was rubbery, indicating that it might not have been freshly prepared.
Excessive Salt Levels: Many of the dishes suffered from an overly salty taste, which significantly detracted from the dining experience. It seemed like the chefs may have been heavy-handed with seasoning.
Subpar Rice: The rice served was not up to the mark in terms of texture and flavor. It was either undercooked or overcooked, resulting in a mushy consistency.
Despite these shortcomings, there were a few positive aspects to mention. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the service staff were attentive and polite. However, the issues with the food quality overshadowed these positives.
Overall, I would not recommend this place for dining based on my experience. Improvement in the freshness of ingredients, better seasoning control, and attention to cooking techniques are necessary to elevate the dining experience at this...
Read moreI recently visited Hotel Madhuban Kaleidoscope with my friends for a birthday dinner, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. It’s shocking how this place has not seen any maintenance or upgrades in over 12-13 years. The ambiance feels outdated and uninviting, and it’s clear that no effort has been made to keep the hotel up to standard.
The food was terrible—poor in quality and completely lacking in taste. It was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was just as bad, with staff that were inattentive and unprofessional, making the entire evening frustrating.
To top it off, the food prices are outrageously high, especially when compared to the quality of food and service provided. It’s a complete mismatch and feels like a total waste of money.
I do not recommend Hotel Madhuban Kaleidoscope, especially if you’re planning a special occasion. They seriously need to focus on upgrading their facilities, improving food quality, and training their staff if they want to justify...
