It was good for all the nice experiences we had there. Like any place it's hard to get everything that you'll want on your stay and so the reasons that made it a pleasurable stay for us were - well maintained, clean rooms. greenery around the property. food was tasty (we had the thaali both veg n non veg which were inclusive of our stay).
There are quite a few things we really looked forward to but missed it here.
[To the owner].. I would take a few moments to type a few things that need to be worked upon that will be helpful in upgrading the current facilities available at your resort. A welcome drink on entry (at least a kokam sherbat or a glass of tea) Many items were not available on the menu. There were guest coming to the restaurant of this resort and we're struggling to get the food of their choice since the options available were limited. For this I can suggest you to put up a board that displays the food item's currently available. Disposable plates & spoons should be used considering the current pandemic situation. I was hesitant to put up the next point however, I think it needs to be considered by the owner- the bulb of the bathroom is extremely dim. Its a zero bulb which barely servers the purpose. Service is extremely slow. Moreover no one comes at the table to take your order. We felt invisible. Even water is not served at the table once you're seated unless you ask for. Since the weather is cool that side it'll be great to have a thermos flask for hot cofffe/ water in each room. This place lacks seating area. No swings or chairs for common seating. Kindly look into that. And lastly and honestly, Gardening and beautification needs to be worked on. There is immense greenery but the presentation was not that great considering there's no swimming pool at least some eye catching view to look at would make it more pleasing. All in all its a stay that I would go only once. The owners father is a humble person who sits at the reception. The owner is available through phone, seldom personally. Thanks for patiently reading :) I...

I visted Neel garden on 20th November ,2020 with my family. We were 16 people so before coming for lunch i informed earlier to book table for 16 people. 1)though informed earlier table was not reseverd by the staff. 2)they gave seating arrangement in garden where table, chairs were not clean at all. 3) 2 kids were with us so we asked them to give plain omlette(without onion, mirchi masla) n chapati first as kids were hungry for that also it took 35 minutes to serve it.when i asked them why its taking time just for plain omlette we have been told that your order is in que and they served it late. 4)out of 16 people 3 people were pure veg so they asked for veg thali .Food was worst and it was not tasty at all also Quantity was so less. 5)for rest of people we ordered sea food thali's for that also they served it after approx 55 minutes.we ordered bombil fry in starters it got served when we finished our lunch. 6) nonveg sea food was not tasty,.even if we orderd surmai thali or pompfret thali you will get prawns curry in each thali they dont served fish curry in fish thali. Curry was made full of water.it was pathetic &very thin n tasteless. 7) when we complained about veg thali's owner swapnil said cook is new. 8)when we asked abt solkadi that time we have been told that coconuts are not good.so we dont have solkadi.and lately they served solkadi .. 9) One more thing before going to this hotel i spoke to owner more than 3 times bcz the owner Swapnil told me rather he convince me that he has a good restaurant serving delicious food but i it was a complete disappointment. And for tasteless food we spent Rs *Note-1)worst experience of neel garden.Tasteless food, less quantity of food, Poor management ,No time management & most important "NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE"
We booked for 14 people on valentine weekend. The rooms were clean and neat.we wer given 2 standard cottage and 1 big cottage Special thanks to owner who gave bread butter for our 2 year old kid twice without charging us. There is No mobile network available in the premises. so you have to heavily rely on WIFI provided by hotel. it works good in restaurant but very very weak in rooms area. So you want place where you need to be connected on calls continuously than this place is not for you. The major problem we faced was a communication gap for the buffet. It was not communicated that buffet system is not available because of covid So you have to order Thali or any one option from Menu . In thali too the non veg item or Sea food is only served once and cannot be termed as unlimited thali as you wont get fish/chicken again in thali. Also you can order one time sea food and one time chicken both will not be provided both times, That is if you order Sea food in lunch you cannot take sea food again in dinner. you have to go for chicken option also they need to specify till what time order needs to be given latest for dinner as customer will clearly tell you upfront there preferences before the time. The owner is nice person who sits on counter. Even though the lady on call turned away from giving discount on final payment as promised in written message. owner gave us small discount when insisted from our side. i would hesitate to recommend someone who goes out with family to go here as there is major communication gap between the actual service provider and the sales person, because of which the customers suffers a lot. So if planning to go, please take everything clear on mail or messages so there is no issues in your...
