I recently visited NPB cafe Khadakwasla and ordered a choco pastry, expecting a pleasant treat. To my shock, I found a nylon thread inside the pastry. Even worse, when I brought this to the staff’s attention, they neither offered any replacement nor expressed any regret for this incident. Such an attitude towards a clear hygiene and safety issue is extremely disappointing. This is not just about bad service — it’s about customer safety and basic hygiene. I even took a photo as proof of this negligence. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate action, improves their food safety measures, and ensures their staff are trained to handle such situations responsibly.

While waiting for my Uber I happened to stop by New Poona Bakery, Khadakwasla. It's a renowned bakery among locals and visitors for decades and I wasn't disappointed either. It's known for its commitment to quality ingredients and traditional recipes of pastries, cakes and savories but I really didn't have time to try anything else besides masala chai. So left the rest for another day ,There was ample space for parking in front and it was spacious inside as well. What really intrigued me was the book rack for the coffee / tea lovers to go through while sipping their beverages. I'll definitely say its definitely a good place to stop by for a little snack or beverage.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Went here for some iced drinks. Ambience is bad - no fans on, no lighting, just a dark room..nothing like photos on Google. Server had a very bad attitude - we had to repeat our order twice: 2 fresh lime sodas and 1 iced lemon tea. She then gets 2 iced lemon teas (which was obvious by taste and the colour of the drink - this was brown in colour!), and when we pointed out that these were wrongly brought, she kept insisting that they were fresh lime sodas. We cancelled the last drink, paid and left as she kept arguing that they add some lemon colour or something - quite clear she was made and she didn't know what she was doing. This place should...

This is a very good place to hangout for couples going to Sinhagad Fort or Khadakwasla side. It is quite secluded and due to bar ambient lughting, it looks kinda romantic place.. Not much food options to explore but you can get cakes, pastries, pattice, samosas, burgers, doughnuts etc. There is a counter for takeaway in the front. You can buy things from there too..

Staff is very polite and Mrs. Shaikh Madam is very soft spoken and helpful. I took birthday cake delivery 2 times from this bakery. Quality is very good. Everything is fresh you can get. Just because of 2 helpers who can't understand you properly, I am giving it 4 Stars.. Hope it gets...
