I stepped in here for a beer recently. They will do a takeaway service but i wanted to sit in to soak up local atmosphere which as a European, I thoroughly enjoyed. Im not sure if alcohol is discouraged in this Indian state as i found the pices expensive. Similar to Kerala. Additionally there was extra charge of INR30 to sit inside. It was no problem for me. My drinks were served to me at my table. All the beers are bottled. They coupd be served better chilled as to my mind lager beers need to be extremely chilled. However, my kingfisher was acceptable. Large 660ml bottle with an ABV of 5 to 8 % standard for this beer. Other offerings were Tuborg and Carlsberg Export strength additionally some other beer sporting a Union Jack but that would be the only British thing about it. Theres also a range of domestically produced spirit including 'Whiskys.'
