Our recent dining experience at Prathmesh Khekada House left us thoroughly satisfied and impressed. Nestled in a cozy ambiance, the restaurant provided a welcoming atmosphere that set the stage for an enjoyable meal.
One of the highlights of our visit was the crab fry, a dish that truly exceeded our expectations. Bursting with flavor and expertly seasoned, the crab fry showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Each bite was a delightful blend of spices and textures, leaving us craving for more.
In addition to the crab fry, we also indulged in other crab items on the menu, each offering its own unique combination of flavors and aromas. From the succulent crab curry to the mouthwatering crab masala, every dish showcased the chef's skill and attention to detail.
Not to be outdone, the chicken tandoori was another standout dish that left a lasting impression. Tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, the tandoori chicken was a true delight for the senses. Accompanied by fragrant spices and served piping hot, it was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity.
Moreover, the service at Prathmesh Khekada House was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From recommendations on menu selections to prompt service throughout our meal, the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs.
Overall, our experience at Prathmesh Khekada House was nothing short of fantastic. With delectable seafood offerings, mouthwatering tandoori dishes, and impeccable service, it's clear why this restaurant stands out as a must-visit dining destination. We look forward to returning soon to savor more of their...
Read moreVery popular place for crabs... And they know it and show it. Zero customer service, so while the food might be good, by the time the food comes you loose all interest in it. We arrived early at 12pm to beat the crowd. The staff told us the hotel is open and so got us seated upstairs, about 5-6 other tables were occupied as well (only 5 cars in parking). We asked for menu and were told "in 5 minutes". We noticed that others were waiting for menu too. The staff finally got the menu and took our order 40 minutes later!! Most of the staff refused to even engage in any kind of conversation, absolutely no interest in serving the customers. The food took forever to come, we had to raise our voice before finally the food was served at 1:30pm. While the food was good, we didn't have any appetite to eat it at that point. While we finished more than half of it, the rest we wanted to parcel and take it home. This is when we got the final departing shock... They said they won't parcel it. This was a mutton handi and crab masala, not a thali. But they refused to parcel it saying they don't do parcels on weekends because their staff is "busy". Never in my life have i come across a hotel that will make you pay for your food but not let u take the remaining back (except when it's a unlimited thali/buffet). The callous attitude of the staff, the delayed "in 5 minutes" service and the weird policies means this place is just not worth it. Given their popularity, they probably won't even bother to fix it and people will still keep...
Read moreAre you a Khekda Lover? Are you a non-veg lover? Do you like to try new tastes? Then Yes you can wait for 1.5 to 2 hrs on weekends in line for food. You have toddlers with you. You have old peoples with you. You are super hungry. Then No. You should not wait but try it on some weekdays. A cheat, have some snacks or carry some, if you have to wait in line for two hrs. We went on Sunday in rainy season. After a visit to Zapoorza the new attraction we went to Prathmesh. There was a Mad Rush- you can not call it mad as people are sober, calm and waiting, credit goes to owners as with CCTV cameras, large staff, billing apps they are trying to manage the crowd. Now about the food. We tried special Khekda thali, chicken thali and prawns masala. We are so hungry we are eating as food comes. Khekda size is medium made in different style of masala which is finger smacking, prawns was medium size tender, slightly spicy. My school going son liked chicken masala because did not taste it as I was feasting on crab. But you miss the flavoured water dripping from ’nangi’ as here crab is added in masala not cooked in it as in our house or any Konkani hotel. Cannot have words for Indrayani rice, outstanding. So a must try. You can enjoy on weekdays and try with cheat given on weekend. No photos as we were...
