Sidhu da Dhaba: Your Go-To for Authentic Punjabi Delights on the Agra Highway! If you're cruising down the Agra Highway towards nashik next to bhiwandi sai baba naka and craving truly authentic Punjabi food, look no further than Sidhu da Dhaba. This place is a proper culinary gem, offering a delicious taste of Punjab that will leave you thoroughly satisfied. A Taste of True Punjab: Sidhu da Dhaba delivers on its promise of genuine Punjabi flavors. Every dish is prepared with care, resulting in a rich and delicious taste that feels just right. Must-Try Recommendations: Make sure to indulge in these standout dishes: Daal Makhani: A creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced classic that's an absolute highlight. Paneer Butter Masala: For paneer lovers, this dish is a dream – a luscious, flavorful gravy with soft paneer pieces. Lachha Paratha and Butter Roti: The perfect accompaniments to soak up all that delicious gravy. Their bread is fresh, flaky, and buttery. The Sweetest Ending: And whatever you do, do not forget to taste their super yummiest dessert: Sitafal Custard! It's a truly delightful and unique way to end your meal, leaving a sweet and memorable impression. Excellent Service: Beyond the incredible food, the service at Sidhu da Dhaba is also commendable. Visited Sidhu Da Dhaba (सिधु दा ढाबा), opposite Shangrila Resort, Vadape, Maharashtra 421302 on 12th September 2025 while travelling towards my hometown. We had initially planned to stop somewhere after Igatpuri, but due to heavy traffic before the Amane entry point of the Samruddhi Mahamarg, we were stuck for more than an hour. This place is the last restaurant on the road if you’re entering Samruddhi from Mumbai. There are options before this stretch, and maybe some on Samruddhi as well (though I haven’t tried those). What we ordered: 1 Paneer Tikka Masala 2 Butter Rotis 2 Butter Chapatis 1 Aloo Paratha 2 Chaas Paneer sabzi was okay, but everything else was extremely disappointing. The rotis and chapatis were not fresh and very hard to chew. The aloo paratha barely had any potato filling — it was more like a plain paratha. The chaas was literally just like water, with no taste. When we mentioned this to the owner, the response was careless — they said chapatis come from outside and “yaha to aise hi milta hai,” with no regret or concern. Overall, not a good experience and definitely not worth the money. Stop here only if you have absolutely no other option before continuing on Samruddhi towards Sambhajinagar or beyond.

Sidhu Cha Dhaba is a hidden gem for food lovers, especially those who enjoy rich and flavorful non-vegetarian dishes. From the moment you walk in, the dhaba vibe and rustic ambiance give a true desi feel. The seating is comfortable, and the service is little slow when rush. Though the dhaba is famous for its non-vegetarian delicacies like mutton thali, chicken sukka, and spicy curries, I must say even the vegetarian meal was quite delicious — well-balanced with fresh chapatis, sabzi, Special Dal Makhani, jeera rice, and chutney. However, if you're a hardcore non-veg foodie, this place will truly impress you with its authentic taste and generous portions. The highlight of our visit was the Sitafal Cream a must-try dessert! It was creamy, refreshing, and loaded with chunks of fresh custard apple. A perfect end to a spicy meal. It's no surprise that this dessert is becoming a signature item here. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity served. Overall, Sidhu Cha Dhaba delivers a satisfying food experience, whether you’re stopping by for a hearty meal or just the Sitafal cream. Highly recommended for groups, families, or anyone who enjoys dhaba-style food with a flavorful twist.
