We had initially planned to stop somewhere after Igatpuri, but due to heavy traffic before the Amane entry point of the Samruddhi Mahamarg, we were stuck for more than an hour. This place is the last restaurant on the road if you’re entering Samruddhi from Mumbai. There are options before this stretch, and maybe some on Samruddhi as well (though I haven’t tried those).
What we ordered:
1 Paneer Tikka Masala 2 Butter Rotis 2 Butter Chapatis 1 Aloo Paratha 2 Chaas
Paneer sabzi was okay, but everything else was extremely disappointing. The rotis and chapatis were not fresh and very hard to chew. The aloo paratha barely had any potato filling — it was more like a plain paratha. The chaas was literally just like water, with no taste.
When we mentioned this to the owner, the response was careless — they said chapatis come from outside and “yaha to aise hi milta hai,” with no regret or concern.
Overall, not a good experience and definitely not worth the money. Stop here only if you have absolutely no other option before continuing on Samruddhi towards...
Read moreSidhu Cha Dhaba is a hidden gem for food lovers, especially those who enjoy rich and flavorful non-vegetarian dishes. From the moment you walk in, the dhaba vibe and rustic ambiance give a true desi feel. The seating is comfortable, and the service is little slow when rush.
Though the dhaba is famous for its non-vegetarian delicacies like mutton thali, chicken sukka, and spicy curries, I must say even the vegetarian meal was quite delicious — well-balanced with fresh chapatis, sabzi, Special Dal Makhani, jeera rice, and chutney. However, if you're a hardcore non-veg foodie, this place will truly impress you with its authentic taste and generous portions.
The highlight of our visit was the Sitafal Cream a must-try dessert! It was creamy, refreshing, and loaded with chunks of fresh custard apple. A perfect end to a spicy meal. It's no surprise that this dessert is becoming a signature item here.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity served. Overall, Sidhu Cha Dhaba delivers a satisfying food experience, whether you’re stopping by for a hearty meal or just the Sitafal cream. Highly recommended for groups, families, or anyone who enjoys dhaba-style food with a...
