Thakare Hotel (Char Phata New Branch) — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I have been visiting Thakare Hotel since 2014, and it has always been one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. Although the original location has been demolished, I was thrilled to discover that they have moved to a new and more spacious location just a little further down the road.

What makes Thakare Hotel so special to me is their incredible onion bhajji, misal pav, and vadapav. I always make sure to order these dishes every time I visit, and I am never disappointed. The flavors are just perfect and leave me craving for more.

Thakare Hotel is a popular spot for trekkers who need a hearty breakfast or brunch before setting off to explore the nearby forts. There are many stays nearby, and the parking space is ample, making it a convenient and accessible option for all visitors.

One of the things I love most about Thakare Hotel is the surrounding scenery, especially during the monsoon season. Sitting inside the cozy restaurant with a hot cup of tea and piping hot bhajjis while the rain pours outside is an unforgettable experience.

Horrible place, the elderly man at the cash counter needs to have some manners to deal with customers. I ordered 2 vada pao 20 Rs each and I asked for potato bajiya which was priced 50rs for a plate which I found unreasonable bcoz last time when I bought their palak and onion bajiyas packet priced 50 each, the parcel has 2 pieces of bajiya and rest all besan crumbs. The business runs only bcoz it's a tourists hang out space. The food might be tasty but sorry the quality is poor I had a vada pao just 2 hrs ago n in my vada pao was a chilly with the stem and potato peel. I would never again want to visit this place mainly bcoz of the bad behaviour of the cashier who was not open to feedback and was just throwing my change for 200rs. I wish that place had a cctv camera to capture this...

Very good option for quick snack before reaching mumbai or even before starting your journey via Mhasa Road to Malshej or Kalyan- Ahilya Nagar Road if your wanting to avoide very bad road of Murbad. As after that you will not have any good food options on the road till Bankar Phata for snacks.

Good and quick service, quality food & fine atmosphere. Just check bill before payment everytime I went there the bill was having more items than I have ordered. And one more thing is that the toilet here are in too bad condition.
