Thali House, located on RB Road near Sundar Bag and Gandhi Statue in Ichalkaranji, is a popular spot for authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Rated around 4.0/5 based on over 800 reviews, this casual dining restaurant is a favorite for both locals and visitors, especially non-veg lovers. Open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, it’s conveniently situated about 5.12 km from Hatkanangale railway station, making it accessible for travelers.
The menu shines with its non-veg thalis, like the Chicken Fry Thali (₹230) and Mutton Special Thali (₹350), featuring dishes such as mutton masala, chicken fry, egg masala, and mutton keema, served with tambada and pandhara rassa, pulao, dahi kanda, and a choice of chapati or bhakri. The food is flavorful, with generous portions and authentic Maharashtrian spices, though some find the masala slightly heavy. The Veg Special Thali is also well-liked, but non-veg options steal the show. Complimentary packaged water is a nice touch.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating options like sofas and a decently maintained interior. However, the restaurant can get crowded in the evenings, leading to wait times of up to 30 minutes. The staff is friendly and attentive, and service is generally quick, though some past reviews mentioned inconsistent hospitality from management. Hygiene is decent, and the restaurant accepts card payments and offers online delivery via platforms like Zomato and Swiggy.
Parking is a challenge, with limited space near the busy main road. Prices are reasonable, ranging from ₹200–400 per person, offering good value for the quality and quantity. Thali House is ideal for those craving a hearty Maharashtrian meal in a relaxed setting.
Rating: 4.0/5 – Great for non-veg thalis and authentic flavors, but expect crowds and parking issues...
Read moreDear Hotel Thali House,
I recently had the opportunity to dine at your restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I ordered the egg thali and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food.
The eggs were overcooked and rubbery, and the rest of the dishes on the thali were bland and underwhelming. The service was also slow, and it took a long time for our order to be brought to the table.
I have eaten at many thali restaurants and have always enjoyed the variety and flavor of the dishes. However, the egg thali at your restaurant was a complete disappointment and did not live up to the standards that I have come to expect from this type of cuisine.
I hope that in the future, the quality of the food and service at your restaurant will...

So, we thought will talk to the manager but the manager was such a terrible person first of all. I have more to say but I guess I...
