The Cliff — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I had book the dining & hall on 9-April-2021 for my Marriage Ceremony i.e happening on 8-May-2021 and for that I have paid the booking amount i.e. 30,000 /-, This booking was done with your Sales Manager Mr. Sameer Patil, But in exchange for booking they have neither shared any type of e-receipt nor the hard copy of receipt of the payment proof till date, We were being asking many time to share the proof of payment which he didn't. Hide quoted text Moreover, instead of sharing the receipt, he was asking us to share the screenshot of the payment, Which we immediately shared with him, We Still waiting for the advance receipt... ????

Because of covid restrictions and some added restrictions ( Specially 2 hours protocol ) for the wedding, We thought that spending beyond one lakh for just 2 hours is not worth it. So, We have started to take follow up & guidance from Mr.Sameer, But we always got negative vibes from him like no cooperation at any level and he was having a casual statement to say always to wait for the further GR and he have put us in such a situation let's wait for another week so we people had no other option than wait.

On the day of my wedding, We called Sameer Patil and asked with full of gratitude to just Parcel the food for the Guest from your hotel and adjust the amount from the booking amount and this time he said first " YES " But, with yes. he also said, You have to pay extra money apart from your advance amount , It was ridiculous... So, There is no sense in placing an order for Cliff, We had many options to get a delicious meal with full of respect & splendid service.

So finally, I asked Mr. Sameer to refund my amount but he said that there is not any policy of The Cliff Hotel to refund any amount to the customer in any circumstances whether it comes from under Government GR or Hotel Policy even in Covid-19 as well.

Lastly, Daily followed up with Mr.Sameer, then he agreed for one mutually decided date i.e 11-July-2021 for dining and I have reached there with my newly built family & friends to celebrate my post wedding dinner, But when we entered in the hotel, we listened 'NO' for everything like you can't sit outside, you can't drink in dining hall as well, Surprisingly, There was some confusion with the waiters as well, They are treating us like Free Customers, Even We felt same.

Heartfelt Insult - I have keenly requested to Mr. Sameer to give permission us to come before 7 PM on 11/07/21, So We can take some pictures before evening but he has clearly denied and informed that there is hotel remain off from 3.30 PM to 7 PM daily, So We said OK But Once We reach there, We have seen many of the families, Who were there since afternoon and was taking so many pictures but we were not allowed as per Mr. Sameer ( I ask Why ? )

Important Note : With the worst service provided by Cliff which i discussed above, We have got the bill of Rs- 21000/- approx in 2 hours amazingly on 11/07/21, Whereas, No services & amenities provided by The Cliff, My all family members & friends were...

We ordered Punjabi cuisine, and every dish we tried impressed us with both taste and presentation. We started with masala papad and paneer tikka. The masala papad was crisp, fresh, and generously topped with finely chopped onions, tomatoes, and a tangy spice mix — a perfect crunchy appetizer to kick things off.

The paneer starter truly stole the show. The paneer was incredibly soft and fresh, marinated beautifully in aromatic spices, and grilled to perfection. It had a lovely smoky flavor and just the right amount of char on the edges. Each bite melted in the mouth and left us wanting more — hands down one of the best paneer dishes we’ve had in Pune.

For the main course, we went with roti and a Kolhapuri-style sabji. The sabji was rich, bold, and full of authentic Kolhapuri flavors — spicy but well-balanced, with a deep, satisfying masala base. The rotis were hot, soft, and perfectly complemented the sabji. The portion sizes were generous, and the meal left us feeling full and happy.

The service was warm and attentive, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. The entire experience — from the tranquil ambiance to the outstanding food — made it a memorable celebration.
