We stopped here for breakfast during a recent road trip, and the experience was genuinely delightful.

The place was neat and welcoming, with a charming outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying a relaxed morning meal. While breakfast is served outdoors, they also have a separate indoor dining area with air conditioning for lunch and dinner, ensuring comfort throughout the day.

One of the highlights was how well-maintained and hygienic the washrooms were both Indian and Western-style cubicles were available, and the quirky quote frames inside added a fun and thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find such attention to detail in roadside eateries, and this definitely stood out.

The staff here deserves a special mention. Everyone was polite, attentive, and quick with their service, which made the whole experience even better.

We tried a variety of dishes including Masala Dosa, Uttapam, Grilled Sandwich, and Thaleepeth. While everything was delicious, the Thaleepeth was the star, it tasted just like homemade and is something I’d highly recommend.

To wash it all down, we ordered their Kokam Sarbat, which was incredibly refreshing and full of authentic flavor. Their tea and coffee were also spot-on, ideal for a quick energizing sip.

Before leaving, we explored a small section near the reception that showcases homemade and local products like papad, pickles, amba poli, sandgi mirchya, and beautiful wooden handmade articles. It’s a lovely way to take a piece of the place back home with you.

Overall, this place combines great food, warm hospitality, cleanliness, and a touch of local culture definitely a 5/5 experience and a must-visit!

Also it has an EV charging station as well as a CNG pump nearby. Great location for...

I've been a patron of this place since 2015 or perhaps before then. Can't recall for sure now. But it's definitely a decade now. Whenever I'm travelling to my native via Mumbai-Goa highway, this is my fixed lunch stop.

They have very good options, right from Thali to chicken and fish dishes. And, for travels, if you prefer lighter fare, they have you sorted for either.

During my latest visit, on a Saturday afternoon, I entered the premises, looking for known faces. Unfortunately, the head server I knew has retired. But, no worries, they'd take good care of you.

Firstly, my father and I wanted to have soup, as both had a running cold. So, we went with Manchow soup. Best option for instant relief. Next, I ordered Chicken Chilli, one of my favourites here. And they didn't disappoint me.

Finally we went with Daal and plain rice for the main course. Can't go wrong with that, eh? However, the only issue was that the quantity of Dal was a little less. For refreshments, I went with a Lime Soda, and my Dad went with the classic Konkani drink, Solkadi.

Overall, it is a good place on the highway and next to the petrol pump. With ample seating as well as a clean washroom, which is mandatory for travellers like us.

P.S. They have an open space inside the restaurant, near the reception where they keep local products made of mango,...

Ambiance: The ambiance is just okay for a quick dine-in, but I wouldn't recommend this place for a pleasant dining experience.

Food: We ordered Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipop, and Chicken Manchow Soup.

Chicken 65:This was the only dish that was good.

Chicken Lollipop:It was disappointing and lacked flavor.

Chicken Manchow Soup:We specifically asked for 2/3rd of the soup, but they served 3 full bowls. When we pointed this out, the manager claimed we had ordered 3 bowls and then tried to gain sympathy by saying they had to cover the cost of the soup. This was frustrating, especially since he had repeated the order as 2/3, and there was no mistake on our end.

Billing Issues: It felt like they assumed we wouldn't check the bill clearly because it was late at night. They added charges for extra noodles (₹55), which was surprising since most restaurants don’t charge for extra noodles in the soup. We only asked for a small amount, but they gave a full plate and didn't inform us it was chargeable, which is concerning.

Overall Expierence:This restaurant seems to add hidden charges beyond what’s mentioned on the menu, so please make sure to thoroughly check the bill before paying. Overall, I had a disappointing experience and wouldn’t...

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently visited Drive Inn Hotel while traveling from Ganpatipule to Pune. Based on mixed reviews, I decided to give it a try, but my experience was disappointing. The food quality left much to be desired. I ordered paneer sabji expecting a Punjabi style, but it was prepared in a Marathi style, which wasn’t as flavorful. The portion sizes were also small for the price. The butter naan was tough and hard to chew, and the rice was dry. Given the number of similar complaints in past reviews, I’m surprised there hasn’t been an improvement in taste or quality. Additionally, the washroom was not well-maintained, which added to the negative experience. If you’re considering stopping here, I’d recommend checking recent reviews first. I hope the hotel takes feedback seriously and works to improve its food and cleanliness.
