One of the worst experience I faced at this restaurant on 15th Aug'24 went for dinner to celebrate independence day with family. There was a 🪲 Bug(Family of Cockroach (🪳) running in the middle of singapuri chowmeein(noodles) which was noticed when we were serving to each other right at the centre of the food and running all over on the other food items. Post observing this one of the family members covered the food with the cloth provided by the restaurant while serving food and called the available waiter thinking restaurant will take some immediate measures. However here started the distaster and a bitter experience of food hospitality sector ever in my life, Nobody said sorry and removed the spoiled food from our table where 3 kids are also there. Waiter was arguing and justifying to prove us wrong it might have come from air and went into our food and we did not noticed . To our big surprise,their manager also did not apologize or said sorry once and argued same thing cannot come from our kitchen. We still did not shouted and kept on convincing the manager and the staff that the cockroach was right in the middle of food and it's unhygienic to eat such a food and think all 10 members of the family including 3 kids who ate the food how they must be feeling. After 30 mins of discussion we realised their motive is not to serve customer rather to earn money by opening a restaurant at such a beautiful location. We are standing there including ladies ,kids and all other families at restaurant were not bothered as we were handling situation politely. But that was our biggest mistake. At the end we just asked that we will not eat remaining left over food due to unhygienic environment and asking for compensation. To our shocked manager simply said I can only replace noodles or not charge that . We have not eaten that and our other food which was spoil but for him it's about business. Than not to create any scene and spoling our mood we offered manager to waive 50% on food assuming he will not even think once. Manager refused again and was only ready to offer discount on noodles. We were shocked . He called his owner and we thought that person who has opened a restaurant and must be knowing the sensitivity of the customer in terms of food industry has also said no to our deal showing what values does the owner hold also . Seeing such a bad attitude and humiliation we asked him to not even give us discount on noodles rather charge us for all the food items which was having cockroach,not eaten by use,left over in table due to this incident. And manager was happy that he was able to bargain with customer and whoed his loyalty towards his owner and provided us the whole bill. We paid the bill and he accepted happily.

In today's time does it really don't matter if a bug having fun inside the food you've been eating for a while ,sharing with your family members including a 5 year old ,7 year old , 13 year old at a dine in restro ?
Is it really so normal that after all this happening the restro manager instead of first and foremost apology for such a pathetic experience keeps humiliating you on whether the bug was alive ,dead or came from outside ,wasn't at time of cooking blah blah blah
May be after such experience having a cctv at a dine in restro at each table will help a customer to justify their anger, sounds ridiculous right? I was visiting my cousin house in pune with my big family ,this is how we usually celebrate independence day and Rakshabandhan , I've been to Sunny's World twice before this unforgettable time and been to Ruby Hilltop Restaurant twice as well with my corporate team when I use to work in Mumbai , I like visiting this place but I didn't know this is how I will be treated the third time
I've been reviewing on Google for a couple of years now as I travel a lot but never ever had to post such a disgusting review for any restaurant.
On 15th Aug 2024 I was dining with my family of 10, had given out orders for couple of starters ,beverages and my favorite Singapori Noodles , while I had shared the noodle bowl with my niece and nephew who also loved noodles (not after this day probably) it's been a couple of minutes ,I was about to din in for a big spoon and I saw a peanut sized bug literally swimming around inside the noodles ,I got up in shock felt like puking first thing in my mind was I hope the kids doesn't get to know about this.
Called the waiter, and the manager explained to them what happened, and their first response was , must have come from outside can't help it , just wow 👏
No apologies, nothing!!!! No hotel management for the manager, of course.
From here, it was a pointless and mannerless discussion from the manager and team . By God's grace, they were ready to remove noodles from the bill amount, such a gesture, right ?
After so much of discussion we were like to hell with these guys we will pay the full amount with noodles added coz we have to take other route to atleast make them realize that it's not so simple.
Then they were reluctant to give the bill with noodles for obvious reasons, bringing out offers like 20% discount which we already had with dine out ,such a slap on the face.
They took 50 min and 5 confirmations from us that YES WE NEED ORIGINAL BILL WITH NOODLES ADDED, despite that they gave a manually entered bill instead of an automated printed one ,something you can smell right away.
And hope god give some sense to the family who was sitting right behind us having kids of their own who decided to support the restro people instead of family like theirs ,maybe being from native place means a lot.

Read moreLocation: honestly this is the best location I ever been to, it's actually a Hilltop Restaurant. This restaurant is one of the restaurants in Sunny's World Resort. It's open from one side is situated on the Cliff of the hill. The open side is of breathtaking views, you can enjoy it with some Cold breezes. To reach there,e you have to take almost two kilometres of the joyful ride. You can take your own vehicle or get a cart from the reception of the resort.
Ambience: It's not too fancy but yeah it's a fine one. As this restaurant is open, there are not too fancy things included but I do appreciate the wooden flooring. we went here in the afternoon so I don't have an idea how it looks in the evening but it definitely looks better I guess.
Food: We have tried lots of dishes and most of them are pretty creative and unique ones both veg - non-veg once. I'll be listing all of them in my review. The platters where amazing both veg and non-veg. I do love the soups from here especially Moong Dal Shorba.

Drinks: We tried only mocktails I think they need some work in this part. Most of them were pretty generic, even feel like packed juices. Here are some that we have tried.
Desserts: De had three of them, they were pretty good I think the shahi tukda can improve. Rather than serving in a glass,s, I wish they serve it in a plate or something. Here are some we tried:
