An absolute HIDDEN GEM! Imagine the setting- A pristine, idyllic, serene farm in Nasik upcountry, untouched by tourists (reaching this place itself is bit of an adventure :)) As you reach- you see an absolutely simple, rustic yet charming place A very young chap welcomes you smilingly. He is wearing an apron- so you think he works in the kitchen, but also wonder where are the waiters/other staff? Turns out- Ashish, the 25yr old guy, is the Owner & Head Chef of this place! He guides you to your table, makes you feel comfortable, even invites you to explore the place while he readies the meal.
What follows is an 8 course surprise! Every dish seems as exotic as it gets, is bursting with flavors, largely made with local ingredients which the owner grows in this very kitchen garden. I didnt know food can taste so good with so little spices!

The degustation menu was a mis and match, but still very impressive. Some combinations were off, but the food quality was overall very impressive. The betki fish was unlike a normal curry- full of flavour and not masking the fish texture. The Pod Kolam (Srilankan) was an inspired choice and the broken-rice Puli rice was a revelation.
