I am absolutely appalled by the dining experience I had at Tony D Dhaba on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway last Saturday. We ordered chicken masala, and it was unbearably salty. We raised the issue with the captain, who then had the manager, Mr. Mukhtar Ansari, come over.
Instead of handling the situation with any semblance of professionalism, Mr. Ansari had the audacity to taste the dish himself at our table and then questioned, "Do you people not eat salt or what?" This response was not only rude but completely unacceptable. His condescending attitude was completely uncalled for. As a manager, his responsibility should be to ensure that the food meets basic quality standards, not to insult the customers for expressing genuine concerns.
Moreover, the manager suggested that the dish could be replaced, but only because "according to him, the salt was fine." This is exactly why we find it completely unacceptable. The first rule in the hospitality industry is that no one should be tasting the food at the tableβthe dish should be sent back to the kitchen where the chefs, who are supposed to be responsible for the food, can verify its quality.
Itβs your duty to resolve complaints with courtesy and professionalism, not dismiss them with arrogance. If a customer points out an issue with food, you rectify the mistakeβyou donβt belittle them. The complete lack of respect and poor customer service ruined our entire experience.
I wonβt be returning to Tony D Dhaba, and I will make sure to share my experience with others. Itβs clear that customer service and food quality are not priorities for this place. Absolutely...

We Had a very Bad experience of Hygiene. We four friends visites the Hotel on 10th July. & ordered Beer along with food. After serving it into Glasses, in my Glass a House Fly droped. As there were many house fly's. We called the waiter and requested to replace it, to our surprise he hisitated and dinied first. After some arguments he called his Manager we thought manager will understand the concern and will replace it easily. But we got shocked after hearing his words at first that it is our mistake we should have covered the beer with coasters which was given to place the beer mugs. & Second they will not replace it. So we holded our food orders and decided to leave then some how manager replaced it. After having that mug of Beer, we were about to order another Round and AGAIN ONE House Fly droped in my Glass Again.ππ It was so much Dramatic event for all of us. Even manager also got pissed after we paid the bill and showed him the mug. It literally unbelievable for anyone. But yes it happened. So a word of adivce please cover your glasses before any House Fly comes to share with you the Expensive Beer with you. Or atleast sprinkle some drops of Beer on table so that Flies will enjoys it peacefully and may not ruin your moment's. π
