Stopped here twice on our recent trip once for breakfast and once for lunch. Recalled this pure veg restaurant from one of my earlier trips some years back. With a good location abutting the Mumbai Nashik highway, spotting the place for a stop over was very easy. Happy that we decided to stop over here and more happy to find that they have kept up the quality in both food and service. They have a large non air conditioned and a large enough air-conditioned dining areas. The tables are also laid out well spaced with good space in between for free movement. Enjoyed both breakfast and lunch here. The food preparations were good and the tables, cutlery and dishes clean. Liked the chai here especially. Service was quite quick considering the number of guests there. We had some special requests for the food preparation and these were followed to a T. Would definitely prefer this place for a stop over during our future trips too on this route.
There is ample parking space right out front for both cars and buses. Though located on the side of the highway towards Nashik, the restaurant is easily accessed in both directions. The washrooms adjoining the restaurant too are...
Read moreIndulging in the pav bhaji and biryani with raita at this establishment was a culinary delight. The pav bhaji, bursting with robust flavors, showcased a perfect balance of spices that danced on the palate. The biryani, accompanied by the refreshing raita, was a symphony of aromatic spices and tender, well-cooked grains of rice. Each bite was a journey through layers of rich, authentic flavors, leaving a lasting impression. The meticulous preparation and attention to detail were evident, making this dining experience a standout highlight of our visit. Highly commendable for those seeking an exquisite...
Read moreI recently ordered Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Cheese Masala Dosa, along with tea, coffee, and buttermilk from Udipi Restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, and Dosa were all tasteless and seemed stale — definitely not fresh or flavorful as one would expect from a South Indian restaurant.
The only redeeming part of the meal was the tea and coffee, which were decent. However, that alone doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. I won't be ordering again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or even reasonably fresh...
