Varhadi That is one of the few places in Amravati that serve truly authentic Varhadi non-vegetarian food. It’s a low-profile, no-frills eatery tucked away behind another restaurant, known mostly to locals and regulars who swear by its taste. The food here is exceptional—Varhadi mutton with bhakari is the clear standout, cooked with traditional spices that bring out the bold, rustic flavors of the region. Along with bhakari, they also serve a variety of Indian breads like phulka, chapati, and the unique dupodi poli, giving diners plenty of choice to pair with their curries. What sets Varhadi That apart is its focus purely on food. Unlike many restaurants in the area, this is a food-only joint—no alcohol is served or allowed—which keeps the atmosphere simple and family-friendly. If you’re craving authentic Amravati-style Varhadi cuisine, especially spicy non-veg delicacies, this place is a must-visit.

Don't waste your money... I went here just yesterday. I ordered special Jhunka Bhakar from the menu which had Patodi ki sabji, Jhunka, Bhakar, Gulab Jamun, papad, butter milk(chhachh) thecha and pickle. At first when the food came, there was hair in butter milk we thought let it be, it may happened some time, so we changed it. After some time in Patodi I saw a wood worm 🐜 , we calls Ghun in common language. After telling the staff their manager tells the waiter to go and tell us that it is a Kankar(stone). This is how these people fool the customers. The owner comes and says Ma'am don't pay bill, this is how he wanted to sort it out. We paid the bill but their behaviour was normal from their side because they have got used to people feeding them such food. It is very unhygienic. Don't go ever, your health is always more important...
