Prepacked Premixes and Retort Gravies are being uses across Kamats India Outlets . Please Be aware!!!!
They use premixes for their Snack Items and for Lunch/Dinner they use Retort Gravies which are prepared months in advance in factories. This is hazardous for all the esteemed guests and patrons visiting this outlet named kamats Legacy Nariman Point , malad and Vashi. I know this and I guarantee my above mentioned findings as a regular guest of Kamats India - Vikram Kamats Hospitality LTD IPO BSE539659 across its whole different brands such as Vits Kamats Legacy Urban Dhaba Wah Mapwan Peeperfey by Kamats..This company is playing dastardly with the guest's life by using premixes as the Processed Foods in its preparations across the wider territories of Maharashtra Gujrat and Northern India, Noida, Gurgaon etc. Please do not visit these outlets as they use prepacked and processed premixes and Processed Prepacked Retort Gravies in their food preparations which are hazardous and life threatening to the lives of the patrons and guests visiting them by trademark kamats which is quite common and generic...
Read moreKamat is known for serving great food on highways and that's why, I usually prefer visiting one of its outlets any time I'm on the road since I've never been disappointed with the quality in years.
Recently, happen to visit this outlet located on the highway and quite easy to find. We tried out their Vada which was just as good and served with great chutneys as I've had at other outlets. The dish was served warm with the vada being very soft and fried to perfection. You should definitely try this if you happen to visit Kamat. We also tried their Mysore Masala Dosa that was again quite good. Though the sambar was a bit sweet, I really did like the chutney that was just the right amount of spicy. Another plus point was the place was quite clean and hygienic.
Though self-service was mentioned, the staff was quite hospitable and on handing over the token, we were asked to sit and food was served within minutes!
It's Best place to eat, all varieties of food are available here. Taste is good, moderately priced and staff behavior also good. Overall It's...
Read moreI had stopped going to any of the Vittal Kamat restaurants about a decade ago. Last week I was almost forced to take a short break at Vittal Kamat's restaurant located at the foothills of Khambatki Ghat. Not much has changed, in-fact I felt it has got worse that I had been there before. Most of the part of the negative review is regarding the taste of their food and the price they ask for that food. We had ordered Poha (Rs.60/-), Upma (Rs. 60/-), Kanda Bhaji (Rs. 80/-), Misal (Rs. 75/-), Vada Pav (Rs. 50/-) and everything was not tasty. Poha would cost not more than Rs. 20/- at the restaurant (Bhairavnath Misal) just across the road and yet tastes great, just an example. That was all about food. For what ladies would wait here is the toilets. Atleast the Gents toilets were stinking, dint feel like maintained at all. Parking space is plenty, but full of chaos as there is no marking or guidance to park it neatly. You may get stuck if you park too ahead from the highway. Anyway, I took the promise not to visit any Vittal Kamat...
