If I had a option to give 0 star rating I would have definitely choose that 🙂 .
The food was terrible me and my 3 friends went there, we for starters order chicken chilly which was ok ok. I can't say it was delicious or good because I had tasted better than this in this same place. For main course we ordered butter roti and murgh mussalam. Which was a horror for me , because how can you spoil a basic roti. As we asked for a butter roti they served us normal roti, I told them that I ask "butter" roti and they just simply applied butter and again return our order. The murgh mussalam is actually tandoor chicken but here it was normal chicken , tasteless. After we ordered chicken biryani and it was disturbing because we ordered the term "biryani" and they served us tava pulao. It was exactly tava pulao nothing like biryani and it's doesn't even had the auroma , taste and was not looking so pleasent. And the worst of all was that I found a hair in it !!!!
The service is so terrible they literally just putted our food on the table and left. The basics of service is to serve the food. And the waiter was so arrogant, after eating our main course we were calling him 10 min to just take our next order . He intentionally ignored us . And then someone else took our order . After at least 30 min I asked the waiter how much time it will take for our order to come , and he arrogantly said that , " I told you to order beforehand". Like if you might get full after roti why would you order anything else, it will go waste . And we were still hungry after eating roti so we ordered and this does not concern the waiter at all.
I went to pay directly at the counter as I had some issues. I told them about the service and about the hair strand I found in my food and he simply replied, " let it go na ". We had paid for our brunch not like we were eating it for free so what's with this attitude of there's.
As I was a old customer of their restaurant this was unforgivable.
If you really want to eat good food and want good service I suggest you to go "highway kitchen" . It is also pocket friendly and the atmosphere there is also good.
I'm very disappointed from water restaurant. I will personally tell every family and friends of mine that they shouldn't waste their time and money going...
Read moreToday we stopped for dinner at Water Restaurant & Bar, located conveniently on NH66 in Rajapur, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The restaurant is attached to Amchi Konkani, and true to its name, it serves authentic Konkani-style food that reflects the traditional flavours of the coastal region.
We tried a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and every item on the table was bursting with rich, local spices and home-style taste. The seafood preparations, in particular, stood out—fresh, well-marinated, and perfectly cooked. The veg thali was equally impressive, with a great variety of accompaniments that offered a complete, satisfying meal. Whether it was the fish curry, sol kadhi, or the chapatis, everything tasted just right and reminded us of homemade Konkan meals.
The ambience is simple and clean, with a casual setup ideal for travelers and families. The service was quick and efficient, with the staff being polite and helpful in recommending dishes. Even though it’s a highway-side place, they maintain good hygiene standards and serve food piping hot.
Overall, it’s a hidden gem on the highway—great for a quick pit stop or a full meal with loved ones. Highly recommended if you’re driving along NH66 and want to taste real...
