Cafe Kolayi — Restaurant in Malappuram

Good, have a spacious area, but poor seating. Ambiance is good enough. Fully covered with plants. Have been closed for a long while due to this pandemic situation. Eventually, it has opened nowadays. Edited (09/03/2022): The price have been hiked a lot. The quality of food served become poor. Last we ate a chicken club sandwich (cost 120), with full of eggs, not seen a single piece of chicken and a Normal Burger which cost 130, which is not worth for what you pay. It's better take tandoori items from here, especially Afghani chicken, it was nice before 4 months, don't know how it was today. Edited (01/10/2022): The prices are now dropped from the last visit. Not a major drop, but even now it become somewhat reasonable. And the food quality is also improved a lot while comparing my last visit.

Vegetarian options: This is not a spot for Vegans Parking: Not have a specific spot. But easily fit 4-6 cars...

Cafe Kolayi has a decent vibe with a nice location and good ambience, making it a chill spot to hang out. However, when it comes to food, it’s pretty average – nothing to rave about. One downside is the long waiting time; service is slower than expected and just about okay.

That said, the real highlight here is their juices, chai, and coffee – definitely the best part of the menu. If you’re dropping by for a quick drink or to relax with friends, it’s a solid choice. But if you’re super hungry and short on time, you might need a bit more patience.
