Cjakhum — Restaurant in Manipur

When we came for dinner one of the staff was so so rude. We asked if we can shift the table from a table to 2 to table of 3 or 4 as 2 of our friends were joining us for dinner. She said everything was full so we asked if we be can get an extra chair. She said no extra chair. So we politely asked, when there's a free table could you please inform us. She was uninterested and said tell us the order. I was stunned for a moment but we told the order anyway. Then after half and hour we asked another waitress if we can get an extra chair. She said yes when the chair get's free she'll inform. We were never informed so when our friends joined us we shifted to a free table nearby. It was getting late so the tables were getting empty. Then suddenly the first rude waitress came to us and asked did you shift his with a staff. We said no not it with a staff... Very politely. Then she said what if the table is reserved? Then I told here there was no reserved plate on the table and other tables were empty too. But you can check and let us know if the table is reserved. We couldn't start eating since we were confused if we had to shift again. We were waiting for her response and she was there casually chatting at the bar. After a long wait she comes and says it's not reserved. (She could have confirmed with the other staffs and then come check with us instead of making us feel like we were causing a problem when we were so polite). All I'm saying is some of us take a one day break a week from work to get together and we don't mind spending on food. If we're eating for more than 4k then we sure ate a lot. The staff could be a little more warm, a little more welcoming and a little more friendly. Rest all the best...

Sorry to say but their service is very bad. After giving us the menu no one came to take order for more than 30 minutes. Whereas they started serving those who came after us. Finally left the place without eating as they didnt seem too eager to serve. It would ve taken more than 1 hr to serve food according to the speed they were working.

Update. If you had told that you serve only those with reservations i would ve happily come back later. Where is it mentioned that reservation is necessary? Why give a seat if you will not be able to serve . And i was not told that i would ve to wait for more than 30 min just to give my order. Also staff should ve competent enough to serve even it tables are full. We ve come to eat . How do you expect someone who is hungry to...

I recently had a dining at Cjakhum and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for every occasions. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, each thoughtfully prepared and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were balanced, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
