Very misleading and unreasonable pricing. My friend and I just wanted two pork thalis, since the items we initially came to eat were unavailable. From the prices on the board, we assumed it would cost rs 300 per thali (which is already more expensive than other restaurants). We ordered sinju too, then immediately withdrew that order, but they still provided a small bowl of beef sinju, which we therefore assumed was part of the thali.

We were then presented with a bill of rs 1,260, and told that they're charging us 150 for a veg thali + 300 for a portion of pork, which de facto means the pork thali costs 450. As for the small bowl of beef sinju, it cost 300. The lady pointed all of this out to us quite coldly, as if we should have known.

I have eaten in restaurants all over the northeast: I have never been to any that charge you for a veg thali then charge the meat separately; nor have I ever paid 450 for a pork thali.

I will say one positive thing: the food was tasty -- but I left with the feeling of having been a...

Homely food in a homely atmosphere with homely people around. A very good place for home style Naga cuisine as well as Chinese cuisine. They have tasty desserts on offer as well. The lunch buffet is one of the most popular options people seems to go for, but their ala-carte menu with items like the fried rice and noodles are definately worth trying as well. The food does not have too much oil and is well seasoned. The owners and staff as well are extremely helpful and offer very good suggestions/recommendations. Other than food, one can get hot beverages, fresh juices, and cookies. There are about 6-7 tables so rush-hour can get crowded. Parking is on the street and it depends on space availability but normally there are spaces...

This is the second time I am editing the reviews of shosa kitchen... I have Tested and review many other naga cuisine hotels... But you just can't forget Shosa.. The place is a small place... Hardly 20 people can dine one at a time... But the girls prefer takeaway... You won't regret the takeaways.. The owner and the girls here are cool and they do know how to treat their customer... And they are Royal to customers to the core... The only hardship I find is when there was construction going on, you have to go all round and part it a non direction way... The dish are superb and like I said you just can't forget about it... My wife fav is the smoke pork and beef singju... Every tourist sud go for...

Food is okay, it’s something you get in every Naga restaurant in the country. The service wasn’t great. Staff was just straight up rude which left a lasting negative impression. The prices on the board is misleading, if you order within your budget, you should definitely ask the staff how much it will amount to before you finalise your order. Definitely one of the pricier places considering that it definitely isn’t a place you’d take your date to. I still feel ripped off and I haven’t gone back since my second time. I’ve deemed it overrated.

This place is located just near to the highway, chinmairong the place is good for the people who like to have proper lunch or early dinner like home. The staffs are kind and friendly they offer various naga dishes like smoked beef, pork, chicken with bamboo shoot etc if its spicy for your tummy don't worry they also serve green tea and desserts, but do not go to late for dinner as they usually don't take orders after 6:30 pm
