The Soul Food — Restaurant in Meghalaya

There are no pros, only cons.

The ordering process is unnecessarily long and frustrating. You have to scan a QR code to access the menu, which might be fine for those who want to explore a variety of dishes. But I knew exactly what I wanted: one pork momo, one pork chow, and two cappuccinos. I added the items to the cart, but the order kept failing when I tried to submit it. It failed multiple times, and instead of taking the order directly, the restaurant staff just took my phone and kept trying to place the order through it. This was an unnecessary waste of time.

The food preparation time was also unreasonably long. We would’ve understood if the restaurant was packed, but there were only a few people around. Yet, it still took over 45 minutes to prepare just two dishes.

Now, about the taste: I’d rate it a big zero. The pork Hakka noodles barely had any pork, just a few tiny pieces, as if we were getting it for free. I've attached pictures for reference. The so called Pork Momo didn't have pork fillings. There wasn't any spicy sauce options. The cost was high, but both the quality and quantity were extremely poor.

The place was designed to have Air Conditioning but the AC wasn’t working which made it extremely hot and damp. The aesthetics of the restaurant was much better than other places in Tura. The food was good. We had pork Schezwan fried rice which was delicious and so was the fried pork. However the prawn gravy that we ordered was not good. I could taste something burnt but couldn’t make out what. And i did not like that the Ice Tea was served with plastic straws, when every enterprise is trying to be more environmental friendly. So i would not rate this place as an eco-friendly or environmentally conscious place, unless they do become environmentally conscious...

Excellent place. Entering into the cafe I felt like I was in a city like Mumbai or Pune.

I just wanted a cafe with good WiFi to work, and everyone recommended this cafe. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with a colorful and beautiful ambience.

The service is fast and the menu is digital and so is the order.

I loved my time here and enjoyed the food. WiFi speed is excellent too.

The only thing you need to note is that you need to park your vehicle beside the road and the cafe is on the second floor. But it's worth the climb.

The rates are priced well for the excellence, and food served.

Definitely a great place to go with friends, family...
