Hotel Surekha Family Restaurant And Bar — Restaurant in Mira-Bhayander

Visited this place for my parents wedding anniversary, and they just ruined our mood for the day. No doubt this place was one of our most favorite sea food restaurant earlier (before the renovation). Ever since it was revamped, it just lost its authentic taste and quality. Overpriced, lost its authentic taste and half the quantity from earlier. Ordered our fav, the masala prawns initially, which tasted good and fresh. Later ordered Pomfret fry, which we asked initially if its fresh or not, to which the waiter said, it is fresh. But the pomfret fry that we ordered smelled bad and stale as if its been kept in the glass store for couple of days. Even after complaining it to the manager, he was hesitant to accept it. We have been eating here ever since and we know how fresh fish tastes like. We didn't even had a bite of it and paid for it as we didn't wanted to ruin our day anymore. We didn't wished that it should not be charged or something, we were happy to pay, but at least accept that it was stale.

Worst place. Think before you go to this place. Stale food is being served. Manager is very rude person. We went to have dinner as somebody suggested us to go. When we order prawns tava garlic, it was too hot nad hence we stayed for some time and tasted it. It was stale, not at all good for eating. When we asked waiter to take this away, he said he cannot do this and hence asked their manager to handle the situation. Manager was counting the prawns pieces and said generally they serve 10 to 12 pieces of it and we had all of them so we need to pay for it. Upon arguing he was very rude. He made sure we pay for that stale food even though we did not eat. I can definitely give this restorant 0 rating but that is not an option here.

My opinion they always serve stale food, as they serve it hot, people really don't get the taste. Also they server hard drinks hence people can eat anything after drinking.

In short, worst place to eat. If you like to eat only spicy and stale food then this is your go to place . Manager is worst, rude and nonsense person. Totally...

Location : This place is located very close to Thane toll Naka. If you are moving towards Thane via ghodbunder road after you cross toll Naka it will be exact 3 mins drive and the hotel will be on the right hand side. There is small crossing exactly opp of the hotel so you can cross the road by your vehicle. (Pls be careful while while crossing road opposite side vehicle come speedy).

Taste : Restaurant serves sea food. And I must say if you are a fish or sea food lover the destiny is here. The food quality and quantity is great. They use mostly gavti type masalas so our taste buds are overjoyed. You say your taste type they will prepare accordingly. (Note: "spicy" according to them means very spicy). If you order food and say them prepare food spicy I ensure you, you will remember my lines and never as for spicy food in this restaurant atleast.

Services : Great service by all staff. Polite, humble, courteous and always smiling face.
