Recently I visited Bhatt Vishranti Gruha. 1.Please increase man power at least to serve people, when i visited there is only one person serving the whole crowd as well as he was serving the home dilivery items also and also he's the one packing all online orders. He was very frustrated as I saw him, but he was also a good person he called me personally and gave me batata bhaji as i was waiting for bhaji for long time. Please increase the staff as only one man cleaning the tables and picking up the plates, and the owner is shouting on him to clean tables how can only one person handle all the 15 tables at a time. But that man is so sweet and humble we had a little conversation with him also and he was very helpful also. I tries there famous misal, it was enogh the quantity as per price and pav was also good and big but they didnt serve lemon as there misal is spicy they should serve misal for those who can tolerate that much spice. Secondly i tried there puri bhaji and it was very bad experience as bhaji was not that hot and puris are not fresh, puris are hot but they tasted bit sour as i thing they used old atta to prepare puri Thirdly i tried there lassi which was not cold enouch but the taste was ok Then we tried there batata wada, they used to add puri bhaji wali bhaji in batata wada which was not a good idea batata wada was also not that good. And also i tried there sabudana wada which was hilarious😂 it was not cooked and sticky from inside it taste like they serve me fried sabudana without any masala spice salt 😂 dont try it please Then i tried there batata bhaji which was mind blowing and tastey i orderd it twice.
I gave 4 star for service only because of...
Read moreEasily one of best restaurants in Mumbai that serves misal pav. Though you won't see long queues at Bhatt, like you do at Mamledar (Thane), the misal here is at par with the latter. They also serve a decent vegetarian thali, puri bhaji, bhajiya/parkora, sheera, tea, coffee, lassi, chaas, and chilled beverages, amongst others. The place itself is a humble, mid-size setup, and it's important to note that it's self-serve—select what you want from a menu hung on a wall, make your payment at the counter, take your order from the pantry beside it. This is a cash only place, cards and mobile wallets aren't accepted. While don't charge for extra chutney, they do charge for extra tari and bread to go with the misal. If spicy misal isn't your thing but you still want to try it out, you can always go for the dahi misal (But why would you ruin such a...
Read moreI am surprised to see such highly rated reviews of this place for misal pav. Tried it and found it to be really nothing but ordinary. Have you all guys tasted misal for the first time??
First, it was not served hot, which a misal should be. No coriander...no lime. The taste itself was just like a regular homemade yellow pea curry.
An form of misal has a edge of spice in it, here it was lacking. Only saving grace was the pav which was clean and firm.
