Jhakas Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

I recently visited Jhakas hotel kurla west , and unfortunately, it was a disaster from start to finish.

Poor Service: The staff seemed completely uninterested in providing decent service. Our orders were taken incorrectly, and the waiters were inattentive and rude.

Unhygienic Conditions: The restaurant's cleanliness left much to be desired. The tables, chairs, and floors were dirty, and the washrooms were in an appalling state.

Overpriced Menu: The prices were exorbitant, especially considering the subpar quality of food and service. The portions were small, and the dishes lacked flavor.

Food Quality: The food was mediocre at best. Overcooked, tasteless, and presented poorly.

Avoid This Place: Unless [Restaurant Name] undergoes significant changes, I would strongly advise against dining here. With better options available in Mumbai, it's not worth wasting your money or risking your health.

Review for Jhakas Restaurant

I recently visited Jhakas and had a really good experience with the food. I tried their chicken biryani, which was flavorful and cooked well. The highlight for me was the zarda (sweet rice) – it was absolutely fantastic and a must-try if you have a sweet tooth.

For main course, I would definitely recommend their mutton Champaran style with naan – it’s rich, aromatic, and pairs perfectly with the bread. Another dish worth trying is the chicken do pyaza, which was well-balanced in spices and taste.

The service was good – staff was quick and attentive. The ambience feels a bit like a traditional bhatyarkhana, simple and straightforward, but they do offer air-conditioned seating for comfort, which makes the experience better.

Overall, Jhakas is a great spot if you are looking for tasty, authentic food at a reasonable price. Come here for the flavors, not the fancy...

Food tasted good. But the sitting arrangement/area is very unhygienic. The hotel seems not very family friendly. Its good for bachelors that are looking for good food at reasonable price.
