Indian Coffee House — Restaurant in Murwara

It is one the iconic restaurant chains in Central India. The taste at the Gwalior outlet is impeccable. This Katni outlet is no less. They have separate sections for veg and non veg. I tried both and loved their Chicken Biryani. Service was prompt and the Biryani was not that spicy. It was definitely easy on the stomach and easier on the tongue.

Although the veg restaurant has a fair number of patrons, the non veg section is usually empty. But that is mostly due to the fewer number of non-secretive non vegetarians in Central India. Most of the people pretend to be vegetarians in public for some strange social reasons.

But this does not take anything away from the superior taste and service at this restaurant. Great place to have a lunch before catching a train at the adjoining railway station. It is hardly 5 minutes away (by taxi) from Katni Mudwara Railway...

If you're in Katni and looking for a nostalgic, no-frills dining experience, Indian Coffee House is a must-visit. The place carries an old-world charm, with staff dressed in traditional attire and a simple, retro ambiance that takes you back in time.

If you are a black coffee lover this is the only place in town where you will get fresh brewed filter coffee qith their own south Indian beans.

I tried the South Indian thali and filter coffee – both were authentic and full of flavor. The dosas were crisp, the chutneys fresh, and the sambhar comforting. The coffee? Classic, strong, and just the way it should be.

Service is prompt, prices are pocket-friendly, and the overall vibe is peaceful – perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. A timeless gem in the...

It's very pleasant ☺️ Let's share my own experience at this : I came here from the Railway station and searching for a food that is delicious and liked by a 5 year child 😋. This was a idea that to visit ICH and buy some non-vegetarian food because of our like and taste. But unfortunately I didn't get that from the restaurant and then I changed the plan to buy some spicy and food to get packed for later and sure it has a lot of options 😅 having my choice and it's very satisfying 😌 But it's expensive as usual and time taking services due to may be as dinner time and good location of ICH. So it's good to have a visit at this. Thank you
