222 Backyard is one of those effortlessly aesthetic cafĆ©s that nails the āearthy eleganceā vibe ā soft beige and warm neutral tones, textured walls, leafy corners, and pops of art that instantly make you slow down. The highlight for me has always been the large, dreamy painting that almost feels like a window into a quiet European courtyard. Thereās also a cosy bookshelf corner, exposed brick walls with food art, and little details (like soft lighting and lush plants) that make it perfect for lingering.
Iāve visited thrice so far, always choosing off-peak hours because the place operates with seat allocation ā and while I enjoy the calm, Iāve noticed that even when itās not too crowded, solo visitors like me sometimes arenāt allotted the prime indoor spots, especially if there are people already working or lounging there for long hours.
Menu-wise, my recommendation is to stick to their drinks and desserts. Theyāre indulgent enough to count as a meal, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality and portion size justify it. Iāve tried two different baked cheesecakes and the Lotus Biscoff, both rich and satisfying. For drinks, the Blue Matcha and the seasonal Gingerbread Latte stood out ā both were visually striking and delicious in their own way.
I had my eye on the Pesto Burrata Pizza, but hereās my small gripe: like many places in the city, they go heavy-handed with the pesto drizzle. This might be a personal preference, but I feel it weighs down the flavour and makes the dish overly heavy, especially for something that should be light and balanced.
In short ā gorgeous interiors, a great dessert-and-drinks menu, and a place you visit as much for the vibe as for whatās...

We were sitting on a table for approx more then 1 hr and had decent order of our. After some time we were asked switch the table bcz some of their guest insisted them he wanted that table only on which we were sitting. I told as the guest to sit on the other table but the staff insisted us to switch the table .. I had my laptop open I had to windup my bag n laptop only BCS their guest wanted that table. When that guest arrived i saw he was having a cigarette pack and his bag in his hand and he came from their smoking zone as they have dedicated place for guest who smoke. So after he finished smoke he came and sat on that table. This is really strange thing . I understood even we were guest and so was he for this cafe but such behaviour was not expected. I am happy with food n ambience but not happy with the service of...

The Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich was crispy and wasn't heavy on Cheese or Veggies and overall tasted pretty good š¤
Chicken wings were awesome, probably one of the best chicken wings I've ever had, there aren't many options for the sauces in which they cook chicken wings but what the deliver is nothing short of spectacular (they were the exact amount of spice laced with some sweetness) š¤¤
I still would; fairly recommend this place to anyone who his looking for an nice evening, they have an open porch with indoor and outdoor plants and has a vibe which I haven't seen elsewhere. You can find places where you can get a lot more food for a lot less money but you probably won't get the overall experience and vibe elsewhere š
