It's a decent restaurant ( we only went there for food). The place is well maintained and the ambience is good but typical as they make a lot of rural settings restaurant now so the novelty has worn off. It could have gotten one more star had they kept to the theme of the restaurant and the food matched the concept and the ambience of a typical Maharashtrian Village. What was a bit of a turn off was the central theme of Maharashtrian food (commensurate to the name) was pushed to the background with a section of typical Maharashtrian Veg. Thali but on entry you are greeted with typical Punjabi Food and a non-veg section which doesn't even have a Maharashtrian non-veg Thali. We went there hoping that a Maharashtrian non veg thali would be served but since they didn't have that, went to the veg. Thali section. Food was good though and the sitting was typical "baithak" type. However maybe because the manpower was lacking in kitchen, they started serving one or two dishes in the thali at a time. Also we had to keep asking for a particular item mostly which were forgotten since the staff serving was non Maharashtrian and couldn't understand Marathi. We then resorted to Hindi and were served. This can be improved. But since the food was served hot and well made, all is forgotten. It's kids friendly and kids would enjoy it a lot so can be visited again and again.

We had visited Panchwati, Nashik to perform a religious ritual on 22nd Oct 2022. While returning to Mumbai (Kandivali), we preferred a different route - via Tryambakeshwar, Jawhar, Manor, instead of taking the same route - Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik, which we had taken in the morning. Near Tryambakeshwar, we decided to take our lunch at Hotel Sanskriti. The owners have tried to make this place not merely a place to take our meals but also to entertain ourselves the way we do in a picnic. It is a lush green area with ponds, swings, toy train, Lord Ganesha temple, astrologer , souvenir shops, neat and clean toilets etc. We felt as if we had visited a charming village. This place is divided into different dining areas and we opted to sit in a rather calm and quiet area away from roadside traffic. For our lunch, we had ordered daal tadka, aloo gobhi, paneer angara, curd milk, paapad, achaar, salad, naan and roti. Don’t know whether it was by design or omission, the aloo gobhi dish had no salt in it so we added as per our liking. Sizzling hot Paneer angaara was served in much the same way sizzler is served. But it was extreme spicy and was not to our taste. Roti, naan and daal tadka were okay. Even after our lunch, I explored the place and clicked some pics which I am sharing here.

If you are looking for some nice quiet place to experience a beautiful rural Indian kitchen, their hospitality this is the place to go. Authentic maharastria food served with all love & care. Nicely managed neat & clean place to enjoy your lunch or dinner. A must stop joint and don't confuse it with the fast food joints at front. Ask for 'Aapal Gao' Ambience 5/5 : They have a huge area making it possible to have different compartments according to food variety like Chinese and fastfood had separate section, puranpoli had different section named ,aapal gaon. Lots of greenery present in the surrounding. They have a lord ganesha temple too and fountain is also there. Overall cool atmosphere. Food 4/5 : We tasted their puranpoli thali so it included aamras, manda, a curry and rice, and some authentic mahashtrian menus. Taste was good overall. Service 5/5 : The staff was present there continuously to attend the customers. Quick service provided. Staff was polite and professional. It’s situated on the trambakeshwar road.

Pathetic, nonsense! What else should I say... Is there any facility to rate negative? Do they really want to serve food or joke 🤮😡 The most worthless and wasteful place I had ever visited. I don't know how people visit there. Actually, anyone would be fooled by their outward beauty. Firstly, we entered into it. It was already late, around 9:45 pm. We quickly ordered veg(soup and sabji chapati) and non veg items(soup and chicken chilli, roti). The waiter brought us 2 bowls of nonveg soup, which was 1 by 2 and 2 bowls of veg soup, which was also 1 by 2. We told the waiter to take one bowl of veg soup back and also said to the person who was taking orders that we returned one bowl of veg soup. Soup was ok, but chicken chilli was nonsense 😒 tasteless🤮 I don't know how did they make it 😕🤮 very pathetic 😑 We just ate anyhow because we were hungry and asked him to bring bill. This was the main thing and trick they did. I saw that he charged soup, which was returned by us. I told him that we returned it to you, make it correct and I will pay it. Then he started talking nonsense that it is correct bill, we served you 1 by 2 soup but given you in 2 bowls. He was trying to fool us but we had argued and trying to tell him that it was only 1 bowl of 1 by 2 and 1 bowl of 1 by 2 was returned then how can you charge for full. He couldn't give us appropriate answers or convince us and left from there. It was already late (approx. 10:45 pm) so we haven't argued much, paid bill and came out of it. The most mingy, shameless staff and wasteful, pathetic service I had ever seen. I will recommend not to visit this...

Hotel Sanskruti offers a truly immersive Maharashtrian experience that goes beyond just a meal, providing a delightful cultural journey. 🌺 From the moment we stepped in, the thoughtful water sprinklers gently misting the air provided instant relief from the scorching sun, setting a refreshing tone for our visit. 💦☀️

The dining options are wonderfully diverse, catering to both traditional and contemporary preferences. We opted for traditional seating, which added an authentic touch to our meal. 🪑🍽️ The food itself was a revelation—a rich tapestry of Maharashtrian flavors, meticulously prepared and presented. We savored classics like the perfectly sweet puranpoli, the savory and satisfying thalipeeth, and the comforting varan bhat. 😋 Each dish was a testament to the region's culinary heritage.

A special mention must go to the aamras, which was simply divine, bursting with the natural sweetness of ripe mangoes. 🥭 It was a perfect ending to our already amazing meal.

One of the most captivating aspects of our dining experience was observing elderly ladies skillfully preparing rotis in the traditional manner. 👵🍞 This provided a beautiful glimpse into the heart of Maharashtrian culinary traditions, adding a layer of authenticity and warmth to our meal.

Hotel Sanskruti is more than just a restaurant; it is a celebration of Maharashtrian culture and cuisine. 🎉 I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable dining...
