Maharashtra Darbar House of Biryani — Restaurant in Nashik

Good and mouth watering menu. Foods, especially mughlai recipes a bit spicy. Restaurent Staffs are polite but not skilled as waiter. Manager is good. Poor parking spaces for 4-wheelers. For 2-wheelers its okay. Not suitable for Family dine at all due to ambience & crowd. Because of Covid, it neither even wise for you to visit frequently. But can use Zomato to pamper their taste buds or once you can order for take away. I took Roti-Kaliji keema & mutton biriyani. Enjoyed the 1st one compare to Biriyani. It was good but a bit dry & spicy. For Biriyani there are far better biriyani are available in Nashik. So I was not impressed with that. But the Kaliji Keema was really good. Other than these you will get some fish delicacies there. Also have veg & mutton thaalis available. Foods are not expensive. Overall experiences weren't outstanding...

So, we ordered mutton paya soup. It was exquisite and one of the best I've ever tasted. After that, we had mutton sukka in starters. It was good. The mutton was properly cooked and very tender. The masala was also very tasty. Another starter that we ordered that day was the day's special garlic chicken tandoori. It was good but the quantity was very less compared to other things. The main attraction of this place is the biryani. And trust me, it fulfills all the high expectations we have. The only slight disappointment was the mutton khichada that we ordered that day. It was very dry and very lightly spiced. I had had better khichada or haleem in Nashik itself.

Definitely will visit again and again Ambience(who cares, but still!) 4/10 Taste: 10/10 Value for...

The family room did not felt hygienic enough. The washroom was in the same room due to which mostly all the men used to come into the same room, the smell was very bad. The server was attending large crowd instead of attending us because we were only 4 people. The food quantity was too less, also did not like the server's service or their service at all. Won't go there at all. Will go to some place else to get the food even if I have to pay more than this place. Oh yes.! One thing I remember, we had ordered 5 masala Papad but the server brought only 4 because he thought the kid with us wont eat it and they had less storage of the same. Why do you want to save your Papad or why can't you have sufficient Papad so everyone can eat it....
