I recently had the pleasure of dining at Majhali, the renowned seafood restaurant in Nashik, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the warm, inviting atmosphere, highlighted by a tasteful coastal decor that instantly transported us to a serene seaside escape.
The menu at Majhali is a seafood aficionado's paradise, showcasing an impressive variety of dishes that cater to both traditional tastes and adventurous palates. We began our culinary journey with the signature prawns Tandoor. The prawns were succulent and perfectly cooked, enveloped in a rich, aromatic masalas that was both comforting and indulgent.
For the main course, I opted for the fried pomfret, which was a revelation. The fish was flawlessly seasoned and grilled to perfection, retaining its delicate, moist texture. The accompanying tangy tamarind sauce added a delightful zing, elevating the dish to new heights. My companion chose the seafood biryani, a vibrant medley of flavors and textures, with each grain of rice infused with fragrant spices and generous portions of fresh seafood. It was an absolute treat for the senses.
The service at Majhali was impeccable. Our server was not only knowledgeable and attentive but also passionate about the menu, providing insightful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to sourcing the freshest ingredients was evident in every bite, making the meal all the more memorable.
To round off our meal, we indulged in the traditional glass of sol kadi and coconut Payasam .The tangy sweetness of the sol kadi perfectly complemented the rich, spicy curry, creating a harmonious balance that left us wanting more.
In summary, Majhali in Nashik is a gem of a seafood restaurant that excels in every aspect. From the exquisite dishes crafted with the freshest ingredients to the attentive and friendly service, every detail is meticulously designed to offer an unparalleled dining experience. Whether you're a seafood enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy a remarkable meal, Majhali is an absolute must-visit. I am already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their...

Our recent weekend visit to Majhali was a masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. The wait time was simply unacceptable. If you do ever visit, make sure that you get a table at the lower floors. The upper floor service, environment, lighting and toiletry was absolutely terrible. Clearly, the kitchen is completely overwhelmed on busy nights, leaving patrons standing around for an unreasonable amount of time. This alone was enough to start the experience on a sour note, but it was only the beginning. The service was, frankly, appalling. Our waiter seemed utterly clueless, unable to answer basic questions about the menu, while another staff member's obnoxious attempts at "banter" were more irritating than amusing. It felt like a comedy of errors, except nobody was laughing.
The food itself was average at best. The vegan options were limited (though the non-veg dishes my companion had were reportedly decent), and the dishes we did try lacked any real flavor. It was a disappointing culinary experience, especially after the long wait. And to add insult to injury, the prices were far too high for what was offered. The poor service, long wait, and mediocre food simply didn't justify the cost. Overall, Majhali needs to address its kitchen capacity issues, improve staff training, offer more flavorful and diverse vegan options, and reconsider its pricing structure. Until then, I'd recommend dining elsewhere, especially...
Read moreI was there on 9 March for my wifes birthday with In laws and parents. We did lot of research on the seafood restaurant in Nashik as i am from Pune. We conclude to visit to This place by seeing 4.6 rating with 2000+ user review. we travelled 27KM for dinner. I have order all types of popular fish and non of them was average all wear smelly and baasi My maid makes it 1000 times better. we wanted to have fish thali but they only serve till 5PM that is bad. Anyways we moved for ala carte and order chicken bhuna and murg mussalam. Chicken bhuna was okok but mussalam was shame size of chicken piece was like elephant legs it could have cut into a size which is small /large enough to categories as chicken any person will have doubt of type meat used for this dish. Murg mussalam has gravy of kheeema but i felt smellh and but my brother said the panner is there in the kheema thats why it smelly. Extraordinary to see paneer into the chicken dish. Even the roti was not having texture like roti. Overall it is place with false review. Water and the daal khichdi was the item ordered for my niece was having good flavor. If this place started the branch in Anywhere in the Maharashtra then they will not even get single 4-5 star rating. I never like to write any bad reviews until and unless it is worth telling people about the false ratings. Bill was Rs6800 and we did not cut the cake of my wife ka bday as non one was in the mood to be there. Simple...
