Baker's Treat — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

I had the most disappointing and frustrating experience with Baker’s Treat. I placed an order for a custom cake for my grandfather’s 80th birthday, a once-in-a-lifetime event, and trusted them to deliver what they promised. I shared the design in advance and repeatedly emphasized how important this occasion was. They assured me they would create the exact design and deliver it on time, yet they completely failed on every front. Despite multiple follow-ups and my clear instructions to contact me if there were any issues, they failed to communicate. They did not even share a photo of the completed cake, as I had requested. The cake that arrived was an absolute disaster. It looked nothing like the design I provided. The quality was atrocious—oily liquid was leaking from it, the design was pathetic, and it tasted terrible. After this horrible experience, I visited their shop and checked their kitchen. It was filthy beyond words. The utensils were unclean, the staff didn’t wear gloves, and the entire kitchen, including the floors and refrigerator, was disgusting. I recorded a video of this unhygienic setup, and I strongly urge everyone to stay away from this place.

I don’t know which government body granted them an FSSAI license because their kitchen fails to meet even basic hygiene standards. Their license should be canceled immediately, and the local police and health authorities must take strict action against them. This level of negligence is unacceptable, and they are putting public health at risk.

If Baker’s Treat cannot handle custom orders, they should be upfront about it instead of ruining someone’s special occasion. Their negligence completely ruined what was supposed to be a joyous celebration for my grandfather’s milestone birthday.

To anyone considering ordering from them: Don’t make the mistake I did. This place does not deserve your trust or money. They lack professionalism, hygiene, and basic respect for their customers. I will never order from them again, and I hope others don’t have to go...

Long ago when Baker's treat was new their service, their cakes, cupcakes were all awesome. But now, they have become careless and egotistical. I bought cupcake from them and the cream had gone bad, pungent bad. The second time I bought cupcake I asked them when was it made, he said it was made in the morning and asked me 'why is there a problem'. I told him last time bought one it was bad. He says it happens sometimes. I said ok and I bought the cupcake and a makroon. The cupcake cream was not fresh so I'm sure it was at least a couple of days old. The cream inside the makroon was bad. I didn't realise it until my child had eaten more than half of it. She got loosies the next day. And I know they can argue n say maybe it was something else. But I'm a super freaky mom when it comes to healthy food, my child hasn't eaten anything from out for over a week. This was supposed to be her treat. I don't think I will ever buy anything from them. And if anyone asks for my opinion I will say rather buy it from somewhere else I'm sorry I don't mean to be nasty, but I'm really disappointed in Baker's treat. I may not have posted it if that guy at the counter would have been honest with me and asked me not to buy it coz it's not frsh like they used to earlier. I used to love their pastries n patties. I have been buying cakes from Baker's Treat since 15 years and have always felt that the quality of their cakes is comparable to some high end bakery brands. It still remains a relatively small shop which along with cakes and pastries sells chips, bread sticks, bread, buns and other bakery products. I have found their Dutch and Chocolate truffle cakes to be extremely tasty and rich. Many bakeries stuff chocolate cakes with cream. But here truffle cakes are made of dense fudgy chocolate and that makes them taste heavenly. I did not find their black forest cake to be upto the mark though. It was extremely creamy with no biscuity base. All their cakes are vegetarian. Their home delivery has also been reliable over the years.

The one thing that can be improved is the customer service. The guys at the counter are always unsmiling and uncommunicative. A more polite and friendlier...
