One of the standout dishes for me was the Murgh Malai Tikka. The succulent pieces of chicken marinated in creamy spices melted in my mouth, leaving behind a lingering sensation of satisfaction. Another highlight was the Paneer Lababdar, which boasted a perfect balance of tanginess and creaminess, accompanied by fluffy naan bread that was simply irresistible.
But it wasn't just about the food; the service at Chenab was impeccable. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding me through the menu and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Nestled in the bustling streets, Chenab stands as a beacon of dhaba-style culinary excellence. As you step into this rustic haven, the aroma of spices and the sizzle of tandoor promise an authentic feast for the senses.
Ambiance: The ambiance transports you to a traditional Punjabi dhaba, complete with the charm of village-style seating and the soft strum of ghazals in the background. The rooftop setting offers a breezy retreat, albeit a tad warm in the summers, but the experience is well worth it.
Cuisine: Chenab's menu is a delightful journey through the rich tapestry of North Indian flavors. The paneer dishes are a revelation, each bite a blend of creamy goodness and robust spices. The dal, simmering in a cauldron, is a testament to the slow-cooked wonders of Indian cuisine. And for the non-vegetarians, the talwar kebab and mutton rogan josh are not just meals but a celebration of heritage and taste.
Service: The service at Chenab is as warm as the naan fresh out of the tandoor. Though occasionally leisurely, it adds to the laid-back dhaba experience, allowing you to savor every moment and every morsel.
Overall Experience: Chenab is more than just a meal; it's a cultural immersion. With its finger-licking fare and heartwarming ambiance, it earns a well-deserved 4.5 out of 5 stars. Whether you're a local or just passing by, make sure to stop at Chenab for an unforgettable dining adventure.
I hope this review encapsulates the essence of Chenab's dhaba-style dining experience. Enjoy...

This used to be my fav restaurant once and this was my 6th visit with consecutively 3 bad experiences.
Bad experiences - Food - We ordered Dum biryani which is apparently their famous dish that they recommend. It tasted like regular masala rice cooked with no taste. We asked the server to taste it and he took it back accepting it's tasteless. We returned the entire dish. They replaced it with none. :(
Facility - Fan wasn't working at the corner table end and as this is a rooftop restaurant, plenty of mosquitoes entertained us throughout dinner.
Volume of music low coz owner is on phone - The sound was barely heard across any tables and when we asked to increase volume, they ignored several times but when asked again, the waiter mentioned owner is talking to someone on phone, so volume cannot be increased.
Overpricing - Mineral water of MRP 20 is charged Rs. 50/- which might be okay for some, but not for me.
Facility - Lift is not working (restaurant is at second floor).
Good things - The ambience is pretty good and old Punjab themed. They play Ghazal songs (provided the owner is not on call)
Suggestion to Management - This used to be an excellent restaurant in the past. Not sure what went wrong and what are the challenges to keep it same.
