Sharing my First encounter with this hotel. Very beautiful ambience. Good food sufficient for small family of 3. Hence one star.
Now the Horrifying Part which subtracted 4 stars: Unprofessional staff: We ordered a Drink which required a Tonic water can, the can was dusty from outside full of dirt, the waiter without even wiping it pour the tonic water from the dusty can in the drink. Thankfully due to our good observation, we are safe from the germs which would had infected our tummy 😯When asked to change the drink after explaining the whole scenario the waiter and the captain started to give stupid reasons so that we continue with the drink which had dusty can's tonic water. We had to aggressively tell them to change the drink as we are not use to dust. Then, finally they changed it. Main course serving instruction: We were on our starters when the waiter came to ask so that he can serve the main course. We said after sometime once we are done with the starter. Followed by the waiter came the captain who twice asked us to serve the food after few minutes of instructing them after the starter. Lack of listening skills and common sense. Washroom: Had dim light. Washroom was not clean. Doors were squeaky as if I am watching a horror movie sound effect. Pro: It had provision of soap and tissue papers. Billing: When the billing process was going on my hubby punched in the OTP on the card machine. My hubby got a call while he was attending it the captain without even asking my hubby took his credit card. After the call, my hubby realised that the card was missing, he got furious and asked the Captain then the Captain made a stupid remark of printing rolls getting over. We had to remind the Captain to be responsible, not to act as a thief and flick credit card without even asking the owner. God knows how it could had been used without our alertness. Seeing the beautiful set up, we were planning to host an event but after the terrible experience we decided it's our First and Last Trip to this Hotel.

Read moreA Taste of Mangalore in Navi Mumbai, MIDC: Hotel Mumbai Palace Kitchen Delivers! My recent visit to Hotel Mumbai Palace Kitchen was a delightful experience, leaving me eager to return and explore more of their extensive menu. What truly stood out was their Chicken Sukkha Manglorian Style. The flavors were vibrant and authentic, with that perfect balance of spice and coconut that defines this classic dish. It was, in a word, awesome! Beyond the star of the show, the Daal Tadka and Rice were also noteworthy. The daal was rich and comforting, with a well-tempered tadka that added a lovely aroma and depth of flavor. Paired with perfectly cooked rice, it made for a satisfying and wholesome combination. The overall ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting. It struck a nice balance, feeling comfortable and well-maintained without being overly formal. Adding to the positive experience was the friendly staff. They were attentive, courteous, and seemed genuinely happy to assist, which always makes a meal more enjoyable. Finally, the menu itself is a treasure trove of options. It's clear that there's something to satisfy every craving, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to delve deeper into their offerings. In conclusion, Hotel Mumbai Palace Kitchen is a definite recommendation, especially if you're a fan of flavorful dishes like their standout Chicken Sukkha Manglorian Style. With good food, a nice atmosphere, and welcoming service, it's a place worth...
Read morePoor service. Courtesy missing. Can't apologize. The tin can of tonic water had dirt in the can lids groove. That was never cleaned and yet served into a glass of gin. To add to that I had to explain to three waiters that my drink is dirty and unacceptable. This basic thing was so difficult for them to understand. ! Next I had three different waiters asking me if I want my main course delayed. It was clear that I will dive into food only after I'm done enjoying my drink and discussions with my family. But this basic thing was lacking again and we were disturbed so many times and yet had to make the dinner be sent back. Then at billing, the guy disappears with my credit card. His explanation was that the machine had an issue that needed to be sorted. He could have called the card machine guru to the table and resolved that problem keeping my credit card in my sight. It's just pathetic that they have this untrained backward waiters and managers that don't understand basics. The place is definitely not up-class and the service not refined. The food was acceptable in terms of taste, quantity and pricing . The washrooms were too dark and also very unclean. There is adequate parking space available for cars. In unpaved so will expect it to be a mess in the monsoon though. This place attracts a mediocre crowd. Highly...
