Had gone there for a late Sunday lunch today with my family. I was initially apprehensive since I had seen quite a few negative reviews of the place in the last 1 year on Zomato. But I was pleasantly surprised thanks to a few reasons.
Reason # 1: The pretty, lush and peaceful view. We had taken an indoor table by the windows, which looked out on the lush green surroundings. This green canopy blended into the pale greyish-blue monsoon Dwarka skyline, which in turn was dotted with the occasional aeroplane landing/ taking off from the nearby airport. My son counted 10 of them.
Reason # 2: The soft background/ ambient Western music. Yes, I'm partial to good ol' English music and amongst the numbers that was playing on the stereo system was 'Hey Delilah'.
Reason # 3: The (nice) food. We ordered 2 fresh lime sodas, 1 mango-mint margherita, 1 chicken pasta in white sauce, 1 chicken panini, 1 chicken tikka spring roll and 1 smoked chicken sandwich. All the items were nice - although the mango-mint margherita was actually an aam panna. But the highlight was the smoked chicken (with melted mozzarella cheese) grilled sandwich (with brown bread) which tasted just right because the chicken had the right amount of smoky flavour (and I'm a stickler for anything smoked since I am a fan of smoked salmon).
Reason # 4: The (affordable) price. All of this came to less than INR 2000 (including taxes and service charge/s).
In all, it was a more than satisfying Sunday lunch outing with my family, despite my initial...

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite loving the food and ambiance, the service was absolutely pathetic. The language barrier was a significant issue, as not all the waiters could speak or understand basic English. As a non-Hindi speaker, I faced a nightmare after placing my order.
During my third visit, the waiter seemed to have misunderstood my order entirely. I specifically asked for less spice in everything, especially in the sizzlers, and requested a different sauce that I had tried earlier in the week. However, the waiter seemed to have miscommunicated my order to the chefs, and I ended up with a 'White beard' spinach corn sandwich that I never ordered. To make matters worse, I was charged for the food that I couldn't eat due to the staff's mistake.
The solution to this problem is simple: the restaurant should ensure that someone who speaks basic English takes orders. It's not unreasonable to expect this in a cosmopolitan city like Delhi. Additionally, waiters should be trained to ask customers to review their orders and confirm the details before placing them. This includes asking about the type of bread needed in sandwiches, the type of base in pizzas, and the desired level of spiciness.
Until the restaurant addresses these issues, I would advise potential customers to exercise caution. It's unacceptable to charge customers for mistakes made...
Read moreWent to attend a birthday party in this cafe. It’s in Sec 9 on the 1st floor near Singla. Had red sauce pasta which was good. Then had vegetarian pizza. That was ok. Not very cheesy though. Soya chaap was good too. Then there was honey chilli potato. It was crispy and not too sweet. The cafe is small yet cute. They charged Rs 750 per head for kids birthday, which is on the higher side considering the items in menu and the space. Visited for a light snack in the afternoon. It’s on the 3rd floor and there is a lift. They have both an open and closed seating., Ordered for hazelnut cold coffee & a hot cappuccino. To eat we ordered for a grilled vegetables panini sandwich. We got the coffees first after 20 odd minutes and the sandwich never arrived with it while we had requested to get these together. The coffees were ok. They served our order for sandwich on another table mistakenly and it took another 25 minutes. So basically we waited 45 minutes or more just for a sandwich. The sandwich had no grilled vegetables in it. It just had more cheese, 5-6 ultra small pieces of capsicum and a few finely chopped onions. This is what they call grilled sandwich with no name of vegetables in it. It’s served in a basket with a few French fries. Bread wasn’t also not good. Had it returned and replaced with Bombay sandwich, which wasn’t very good but still better. But the service wasn’t...
