107 NOTOUT — Restaurant in Odisha

Must Read !!! Well!!! The review here I’m posting is completely self-experienced and not a paid one. Recently i had visited Bhubaneswar to attend a family wedding and opted this hotel to stay for 2 days. The price of each room is Rs 2107 which is standard and if you asked for a discount, they will just minus that 107 from the original amount. Don’t bargain more they won’t listen you. I had to pay the whole amount for two days and if you told them to pay half and the rest after the check out they won’t listen you. Don’t try to bang your head there they won’t pay attention towards it. I had encountered two different scenarios while staying at this place which will definitely help others to decide whether to stay or not in this hotel. Scenario 1 – On our 1st day in this hotel I had ordered food from Swiggy around 5PM to 5:30 PM and when the delivery boy approached the reception the so-called owner who is in his 50 was abusing the delivery person and said him to get out from the property. When I came down to the lobby to pick up my order he raised his voice on me and told me outside food are not allowed and he would cancel my reservation If I would do so. Here to mention before I ordered from Swiggy I called to their restaurant for food and they informed me that they would open after 6 PM. You won’t believe the rates on the food menu are sky high. My question here is when your restaurant is going open at 6 pm and during that time I’m craving for food so should I stay hungry or go for a hunt to grab some food from outside in the scorching weather outside. Above all it’s my choice to eat or not eat at your place and I have paid the full amount to stay, not bound to eat. Scenario 2 - On day 2 of our stay when we are getting out for the wedding and approached the exit door of the reception this so-called owner again appeared from no where and asked me to deposit the room key at the reception. When I hesitate to submit the keys he gain raised his voice and insist me to submit the key. Again, when I told him why should I submit the key when I’m staying here, he told me it’s our policy. While booking the rooms they have not informed us anything about this. I again told him is there any policy that you have mention at your reception counter he immediately raised his voice and said I am saying and that’s the policy. When I showed concern about my belongings in the room he told me that they have five to six duplicate keys and they can open at any time the want. If that was the case they would you asking me to submit the key. In the reception area no one was there to keep the keys safely and public were coming and going from that place. If someone would have taken the keys and did any mishap who would be responsible for that, the hotel management or the owner? I do not think anyone would bother about that. Final Review – In my opinion this hotel should be boycotted for staying for having food. Completely dissatisfied after the stay and would not recommend to anyone. Lots of safety issue is there - 1st the owner is abusing and looks like a drunkard whose only concern is money nothing else. If you gonna argue with him for a prolong period he would defiantly raise his hand on you, he is a completely disaster. 2nd safety concern is no one stays at the reception to keep the keys so it’s more vulnerable to theft in spite of they keep CC tv cameras. Food was extremely horrible and rate was sky high. They don’t use fresh things rather using frozen things which is prone to food poisoning. This place is ideally located at the junction of a popular Shirdi Sai temple. The choice of theme used in the interiors will definitely attract any cricket lover to have a visit at-least once. This sums it all as the quality of food is below par with other restaurants of this category.

Last Sunday i.e. on We had ordered crispy chicken as a starter which tasted very average and the quantity was extremely less as compared to its price and many other popular places. Then in the main-course it was garlic chicken which was okay types and another chicken 65 which tasted almost the same as crispy chicken in the starter. The worst spoiler was their so-called chicken fried-rice which they had prepared from the left-over rice of the previous day. When we complained about this to their waiter, he was polite to tell me that it is due to the absence of egg the rice had this texture and taste. They took back the rice and replaced it with another jewel fried-rice with leftover biriyani which tasted like yuk. 🤮 Since, I went there with my parents and wife, it was quite uncomfortable for me to show off my anger but, I tried to explain my dissatisfaction with the food quality served to me to the senior-citizen owner who was quite reluctant to accept his mistake nor did have a minimum courtesy of apologizing to us for this pricey dinner which got spoiled due their sadak-chhaap quality food.

He tried to politely prove me wrong saying we have so many good reviews. Well, I hope my review makes me more proactive in understanding a customer's problem for an improved...

I won’t recommend anyone to go there. I went there for lunch with family. The food they served such as laccha paratha, dal fry, mushroom Kadhai, mushroom masala, aloo gobi masala were the worst food I’ve ever had. It has no taste and sour flavoured. Completely off.

When we ate the laccha paratha it felt like we were chewing the raw dough. No waiter served the food on the table. Only places the dish bowls and left. We had to serve ourselves.

At times like this no waiter was wearing mask No sanitizer was there

When I complained about the food quality and taste, nobody listened and I had to pay for the stale food. They even charged for the food which we didn’t eat at all due to the bad quality. Neither they replace the food nor they waive off the charges of the particular dish.

HIGLHLY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTING SERVICE.
