Tucked away in front of Fashion Bazar, inside the vibrant Sector 19 Market Complex, Anandalok shines as a beacon of vegetarian gastronomy. This small restaurant, true to its name which translates to "realm of joy", offers a culinary experience that transcends expectations.

Anandalok's commitment to quality is evident from the moment you step inside. The aroma of spices and herbs fills the air, inviting patrons to embark on a gastronomic journey like no other. What sets Anandalok apart is its adherence to Hindu traditions, with all dishes prepared without onion and garlic, catering to those who follow a strict vegetarian diet.

The menu at Anandalok is a celebration of vegetarian cuisine, featuring an impressive array of starters, main courses, and sides from both Indian and Chinese culinary traditions. Each dish is crafted with precision and care, using the freshest ingredients to ensure maximum flavor and authenticity.

While every dish on the menu is deserving of praise, there are a few standout options that are simply irresistible. The paneer dishes, in particular, are a highlight, with the succulent cubes of cottage cheese cooked to perfection in rich and flavorful gravies. For those craving something lighter, the mixed vegetable curries offer a symphony of colors, textures, and tastes that delight the senses.

Portion sizes at Anandalok are generous, ensuring that no diner leaves hungry. Whether you're indulging in a hearty main course or sharing a selection of appetizers with friends, you can rest assured that you'll be satisfied by the end of your meal.

The ambiance at Anandalok is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and warm lighting creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The attentive staff adds to the overall atmosphere, providing friendly service that makes diners feel right at home.

In conclusion, Anandalok is a true gem in the heart of Sector 19 Market Complex, offering the highest quality vegetarian cuisine that caters to both the palate and the soul. With its commitment to tradition, impeccable flavors, and welcoming ambiance, dining at Anandalok is truly a joyful experience that leaves a...

Staff behaviour is pathetic, always in hurry. Cleanliness on ground floor is bad, the area stinks. How can people eat if it smells so bad ? I have told the same to person at desk but they take the feedback casually and never taken action since last 5 years.

Food: Uses mostly Aloo in all sabji. Where are the vegetables ? You charge Rs 150 for thali. Serves pure veg - which is the reason it attracts people. The other items Paneer, Bhaja, Sweet is useless in taste. Instead keep another menu item without these so that the price is justified. In Rourkela seems this is the only fine dine restaurant which serves Odia cuisine. This is actually a bad image for outsiders. Just see Aami Bangali Restaurant and it's cleanliness or ambience, they have kept good name of Bengali cuisine. People find Anandaloke heavenly because there is no other option.

For all the people visiting Anandaloke and feel frustrated kindly visit Ganguram in Super market and decide. Ganguram is not the best, but I...

This is a good place for pure vegetarian dining. So it usually remains overcrowded during festivities. Prices are OK for an AC restaurant. They have maintained the taste despite not using garlic or onions. You wouldn't miss the taste of those ingredients unless you order chinese dishes, which I wouldn't recommend having here. I would highly recommend the veg-meals with unlimited rice/dal/curry. Be aware that the quality may suffer during rush hours as evident from the photo of raita that was served with the biryani. Attaching the festival menu during the Durga Puja festival of 2023.

This is a pure veg restaurant. We tried special thali 130/- each. It has several items with unlimited rice dal and one season sabjee. Thali looks big, however items provided are very very less in quantity. The size of sweet is like a marbel and of not good quality. Dahi paneer and bhujia were very very less in amount. Beguni quality was not upto the mark. So, saying about food quality becomes difficult as only rice and dal able to taste properly. Service is slow and so so. Place is big but ok type. I would rate 3/5, and will recommend other veg restaurant if option is with you.

We ordered Anandalok Special Mix from Anandalok Restaurant, And there was a Cauliflower Insect, Once again before this incident we complain that there was little stones in Anadaloka Mix curry, but no one took that issue seriously, that's why this time I was bound to post this in Google, I don't understand why these people don't even wash the vegetables properly, whole Rourkela people belive that this is the best restaurant to eat hygiene and without onion garlic food, But these people give us vegetable insects to eat in their Anandalok Special Mix Curry.
