Worst experience i have ever had.. honestly the service was pathetic, me and my friends entered to the second floor and requested that few friends are on the way, once they will reach we will order the food, just after two minutes 2 people came and ordered us to leave that floor and go to the first floor and have our meals there, when I asked them the reason they simply told we will not serve the food now again I asked them genuinely will it be ready after 1-2 hours they simply refused us to sit there. After a while we saw that are letting others go to the second floor, we again went there and asked them that can we sit here .. Then they allow us...I don't understand What kind of a attitude is that.. Things got more worst when we sat there , not a single person came there to give us a menu..we have to go and asked for the menu... Then we request to change the spoon as it was dirty they told that's all what we have ...we ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken butter masala .. Both gravy was same .. When we asked the waiter..he said may be they cooked it in the same gravy Honestly it was the worst experience ever thoughout the meal we were dissatisfied ... After a very long time me and my friends decided to have a get together there... It was really disappointing...staff attitude was the worst..I don't know why .. You guys are getting paid due to customers and you behaving like this with them.. Won't recommend anyone at all to go there. There are many great restaurants out there guys.. This place is not worth it at all .I wish I could have give zero stars ....

If you visit this place for lunch or dinner, always give ur orders to the guys in red tshirt. There's this guy with a light blue shirt who will approach u for ur orders but i would suggest that u avoid this guy. Either he doesn't know manners or he misbehaves people on purpose. First he told us that menu isn't available when we asked for menu and then he told some two to three items and we had to order from his words. Then when one of the guy with the red tshirt gave us the menu, we got to know about other food items being available. So when we asked that guy to change our order he said that it cannot be changed and it's fixed. Just one minute after ordering he said this. When we ordered other food items through the guy with red tshirt, he was very friendly and he served us very well.Later when that blue tshirt waiter got to know, he tried to mock us saying to another guy that "these people can't even order at once." Lol he didn't even give us the menu so how would we know what is available and what isn't. IT COSTS NOTHING TO BE GOOD TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. Such a waiter is a disgrace to a place like bijay dhaba which is very renowned and has a big reputation. Other than that the place is great. The people with red tshirt are very friendly and respectful. Food is decent. Not really...

A Culinary Journey Aboard Bijay Dhaba!

Review: From the moment you step into Bijay Dhaba, located conveniently on Cuttack bypass road, you are transported to a nostalgic railway station ambiance, complete with charming train coaches that add to the unique dining experience. The restaurant's ingenious theme is not just a treat for the eyes but also sets the stage for the culinary delights that follow.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the non-veg platter, a treasure trove of flavors that offers incredible value for money. It's a sumptuous spread featuring a variety of seafood that is cooked to perfection, along with other delectable meat choices. Each bite is a testament to the chef's expertise and the rich culinary heritage that Bijay Dhaba prides itself on.

Not only does the platter leave you satiated, but it also encourages you to explore more of their mouth-watering dishes. The service here is as commendable as the food, with staff who are attentive, quick, and always serving with a smile. Bijay Dhaba is more than just a meal out; it's a delightful experience that leaves a lasting impression. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this gem on Cuttack bypass road is worth the stop! A resounding five stars for an exceptional...

Loved this dhaba.... I normally prefer these kind of dhabas. The simple reason is that they give more preference to desi or traditional cuisines than other other types of cuisines. Also the most important thing is that in many dhabas you will not find the influence of Mayonnaise and cheese or any other types of international sauces which completely ruins the desi food culture. Here only desi spices are used. I loved the unique ambience which resembles the design of a train. The ground floor is non-ac while the first floor has AC dining hall. We ordered chicken tandoori as a starter and in main course we tried Masala Prawn, Mutton Curry, Egg tadka and chilly chicken along with some soft butter naan. Food was really good and it was perfect for the level of spiciness I needed. Chicken Tandoori was soft and tender. Mutton Curry was excellent. Soft tender mutton pieces and spicy gravy combined with the butter naan was just heavenly. In the desert we tried fresh Rabdi to soothe the spiciness. Egg tadka was ok kind of. But I previously I had tried it and loved the taste. Overall I kind of love this dhaba and would like to have dinner here again.

It's a go to place. Let it be a family dinner or birthday or just random food craving this place has been my safe option over years now. I have seen it transform from a sophisticated version of dhaba to a proper restaurant. The taste and quality of food has also changed over years (in a very good way). Earlier the food was that of a proper dhaba style and less oily but now they have kind of revamped their dishes... might be because of chance in chefs. Currently the 1st floor is under some kind of maintenance but the ground floor and the 2nd floor are operational. I miss those bed kinda setting in the ground floor which gave a proper dhaba vibe. The staffs are very attentive and they somehow tend to manage everything even if the place is at it's peak time. The food will reach you after 20mins and not less than that and I can't blame that seeing the crowd there.
