If I have to rate this cafe in one word then that would be "Over-Hyped". As per the ratings I did not have any positive experience here. Yes this is a good spot for couples considering the hill view and ambience. But they have to change a lot of things. First of all a separate area should be provides for Hookah Smokers. We chose the outer balcony sitting arrangements where there were people smoking hookahs. Even we found hookah in the AC dining hall also. For me the smoke was irritating. Now lets talk about the food. We ordered an espresso, cold coffee, pan fried momo and mushroom salt n pepper. I was very disappointed when I was served black coffee instead of an espresso. I asked the waited but he was completely clueless about the difference between espresso and black coffee. The coffee was also made using instant coffee. When I ordered pan fried momo, I was not expecting a chilly momo from them. It was supposed to be simply pan fried with less oil but no spices or vegetables. Instead we were served chilly momo prepared using onions, too much oil and lots of sauce. However mushroom salt n pepper was really delicious. It was fresh, crunchy and a bit spicy. Considering all these issues we decided to leave early rather than enjoying...

Regarding the food, Hill View delivers tasty dishes that reflect quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. The flavors are enjoyable, and the presentation adds to the appeal. The menu offers a good variety, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.

Read moreIf you're looking for a cafe with a decent view, this place might be worth considering. However, don't expect anything breathtaking, as the view is pretty normal. While the settings both indoor and outdoor are nice and aesthetically pleasing, the service can be quite poor. During our visit, the staff was slow and seemed to have trouble remembering who ordered what. To make matters worse, hot beverages were not available when we went.
The milkshakes we tried were average, nothing to write home about. The food, too, was very average, with no standout dishes that we found particularly memorable. The one bright spot was the hookah, which was decent and worth trying if you're a fan. Otherwise, pretty average and not worth all the hype.
Overall, while the hill view cafe has a lot of potential, there are definitely some areas that need improvement. If you're looking for good food or excellent service, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for a relaxed atmosphere and a decent hookah, it could be worth...
