Magdalene's Grand Cafe — Restaurant in Odisha

Not so good Seems a bit pricey when you eat in a small town like PHULBANI. The ambience is not that good, rather than a cafe the arrangement looks like a business shop. It is not neat and clean.

I didn't enjoy my first order at all.

1. The French fries were overcooked, served with Mayo. It goes better with ketchup or mustard sauce.
2. Fried chicken momos were kinda good, but again I didn't feel the signature sauce that usually served with momos.
3. The chicken pizza was mediocre, the crust was thick, tasted like tandoori naan and the cheese weren't well spread.
4. Veg sandwich was spicy, mint flavour was strong and dominating, the bread used was regular not sandwich bread.

pathetic service.waiting period is so long.They made us wait for like 2 hours for normal orders .Space is limited and menu it limited also.However kudos for such a initiative in Phulbani.A cafe in phulbani is a taboo kinda thing and they broke it by opening one.However a long way to go before you call it proper cafe.Beverages are served faster than food items.Good place to spend time with friends and family.Unique one in phulbani. This is a great café serving good food with a great menu. Excellent service and a great place nearby Baptist Church, Phulbani . Good meeting spot.
