After a visit to Pichavaram on a hot Sunday at the end of February, we were looking for a place to have a lunch before driving back to Pondicherry. It was late for lunch - past 3. Arupadai came up on maps as we were driving out of the area before reaching the highway. It's a simple place with homestyle food, cooked in an open kitchen in the back.
