Aswins Veg Restaurant (Perambalur - New Bus Stand) — Restaurant in Perambalur

One of the worst experiance I have faced in Aswins veg restaurant Perambalur opposite new busstand branch. We family of 40 people planned to visit our family temple near Perambalur on Nov 6th..so on 5th Nov I have called to Aswins hotel and enquired about having lunch for 40 people. Hotel management said they will arrange special meals(130 rs) and suggested us to have in AC hall as most regular customer will have lunch downstairs in non AC hall(90rs meals for non AC). I said ok for special meals Ac hall as we were 40 people and I do not want my family members to wait without seats.

Next day after visiting temple I have called to manager and informed we will reach hotel for lunch in 5 to 10 min..and manger said ok.

When we 40 people reached hotel, manager has asked to go upstairs Ac hall. When we reached upstairs all the tables were occupied and no place to sit. All my relatives had to wait for other people's to finish their meals to occupy tables,.

Manager their did not care to make arrangements for us to sit and when complained they didn't care even to attend us. Waited for more than 1 hour for food to be served.

Food was not worth for 130 rs(special meals?) All they care is money so please avoid going to this type of hotels considering Aswins...

7th - Sunday of this month we went to have lunch with family members. Meals was good but following feedback points they need to consider: Paruppu Podi was too salty which was given to have with rice. They should put correct level of salt. Potato poriyal and Koottu not that much delicious. I see mostly on all the hotels they keep on serving potato poriyal. Based on the other vegetable season and if they decide for budget concern they need to decide to consider some other vegetables for poriyal. Example if the gabbage cost is less on a season of month they can consider providing the specific dishes. Sample applicable to kootu. See frequently Payasam as sweet at the lunch menu not only on Aswins and most of the restaurants they provide this. If the reason is for budget concern then they can concern mini badusha, mini jangiri, mini milk sweet. Since Aswins are leading on sweets sales and have a large factory they can provide these type of mini sweets at least instead of providing payasam, sarkarai Pongal and kesari etc. Serving the types of mini sweets and if customers felt delicious will make customers to think and decide to buy sweets as a separate box to take home.

We recently hosted our daughter's puberty function at this party hall, and it was an excellent experience. The hall is spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebration.
