Hi everyone, I recently visited Ujjain and wanted to share a heads-up. This particular stop is probably the only one you’ll find for several long kilometers — and they seem to take full advantage of that. We ordered two paneer parathas and two aloo parathas (neither the prices nor the items were listed on any menu), and guess what? The bill came to Rs. 700.
The food wasn’t even good. While I understand staff shortages and delays, this felt like clear exploitation, knowing travelers don’t have many other options around.
