Had lunch here after darshan at Tirunallar temple. It’s just outside the exit. They serve lunch on a plantain leaf. Simple tasty food. Feels like home made food. I would not say that the taste was out of the world but it was homely food. If you want good homely food and not bothered too much about ambience you can go straight here. A small establishment, but the food (meals) was excellent. The lemon pickle tasted very fresh, and the food had a very homemade quality to it. The server was very attentive and very polite. For 70 rupees, they provided generous quantities of potato, kootu, pickle, appalam, rice, sambar, karakuzhambu, rasam and buttermilk.

Would highly recommend eating here after visiting thirunallar...
