Mutton Mandi quality not same as before and marked mutton pieces no proper Mandi quality meat flesh!!!!! only meat fat (Tallow) and bone, when we requested to change no proper response and they offered us to exchange with chicken instead of two meat pieces but we have to pay the meat Mandi amount full what kind of logic we don’t know. After paying the bill amount we raised this complaint to cash counter person genuinely who claim to be main responsible for customer dining service inside the restaurant but he refuse to accept the customer feedback and ended up the conversation with justification everyone eating same quality only you complaining reply by cash counter person then we didn’t argue or shout considering public discipline so we giving this review to save your dining experience so please recheck the upcoming reviews after mine to ensure they corrected their mistakes so you all can have good experience and I hope they will correct in the future especially management who is responsible for customer dining. This is not the same Istanbul Mandi restaurant we experienced before. Rs 1450 for mutton Mandi not worth and Moroccan chicken Mandi was good as expected and tomato sauce not good as before it tastes like tomato regular sauce more sweet not Mandi type. Only one favor was served after plenty of conversation Moroccan spice extra in the cup that’s why one star for service. Worst dining experience with my family and worst birthday treat experience for my brother.

Read moreWe visited Istanbul Kitchen, Puthuthurai, Karaikal and tried their Al Faham Chicken Mandi and it was an outstanding experience! The mandi was beautifully presented with fragrant long-grain rice, smoky and well-marinated Al Faham chicken, and a variety of sides that perfectly complemented the dish. The chicken was grilled to perfection - tender inside, with a rich smoky flavor and spices that balanced heat and taste so well. The mandi rice itself was light, flavorful, and enhanced with fried onions and raisins, giving every bite a nice mix of savory and sweet.
The accompaniments made the meal even more special - the fresh salad added crunch, the creamy mayo balanced the spices, and the green chutney and red sauce elevated the flavors to another level. Portion sizes are generous, making it perfect for sharing, yet satisfying enough for one with a big appetite.
Apart from the food, the place is neat and well-maintained, with a cozy and welcoming vibe. The staff were polite, attentive, and served everything promptly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.
Overall, Istanbul Kitchen is a gem in Karaikal for those who love authentic Arabian cuisine. If you’re anywhere near Puthuthurai, this place should definitely be on your list - the Al Faham Chicken Mandi...
Read moreI recently visited Istanbul Kitchen and was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the mutton mandi, which was overpriced for the small portion size. In addition, the restaurant made me wait for 30 minutes after ordering my food. Once my meal arrived, it was clear that the quality of the dish did not justify the high price. The mutton was tough and lacked flavor, and the overall presentation was underwhelming.
To make matters worse, the service was poor. The staff did not seem interested in providing good customer service and were generally unhelpful. The lack of attention to detail and poor quality of the food made for a disappointing dining experience.
Overall, I would not recommend Istanbul Kitchen. The high prices, small portions, and poor service make for a frustrating and...
