Bombay Rasoi & Banquet — Restaurant in Pune

This place is located on Awhalwadi road and we as people are missing on a join which has great tasting food along with the service as the staff is very courteous. They will greet you with a smile which is mostly missed today in majority of restaurants. Coming to ambience it is fairly new set up with good interiors. We visited on Sunday during halloween and the interiors matched with the theme. Restaurant offers Indian dishes with Continental cuisine on the menu. We tried the Chicken platter which is again customisable as we do not like Chicken Malai kebab so the captain gave the option of replacing the malai kebab with alternative. Chicken manchow and Cream of tomato soup were also good and so was the Chicken fried rice. Did not rate 5 stars as we felt the quantity is less otherwise full 5 stars were in order. Coming to most important point the location, it is in the lane next to Wagholi bazar on Awhalwadi road and hence less footfall from patrons as most of them are unaware of such restaurant. Next time if you are looking for great taste and Continental cuising do visit them if you are on Nagar highway or in vicinity of Wagholi and Nagar Road. Kudos to the team.....I really want to thank each & every member of Bombay Rasoi for making the day so special for my son.. I celebrated 11th b'day of my son here and the most wonderful one. From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff exceeded expectations. Superb customer service, with a commitment to making our stay comfortable. Such a memorable time!! Everything was sooo beautiful and the staff was amazing! I was so relaxed as the management took take of everything with a big smile on their face. You guys are very well experienced in hosting a party, I didn’t have to move a finger!. And to the wonderful manager for being so sweet and Helpful and for answering all questions in such a prompt manner. The welcome drink, starters and full food was so tasty, amazing and mouth watering including the desserts. A big thank you to the Photographer too as we didn't take any single pics from our phone as he was clicking the awesome pictures continuously till end. Decoration was awesome and the ambience was so good. Everyone was so suprprised after looking all the beautiful decoration around. I recommend this place to all to just visit once and check it out. Ambiance is good. We ended up ordering starters only, I ordered some paneer crunchy or something similar, I forgot the item name. The taste was good, but was little oily... Little less oil could have made it great dish.

And here is the the unpleasant part which made me rate it on lower; I had visited the place on weekend sometime around 1.30pm, it took 25-30 minutes of my time for placing the starter order and finishing my starters. And when I was placing order for main course sometime around 2pm(wasnt beyond 2pm), the person who was managing things from the counter told that the tandoor is closed...... They didn't had any option for breads..... Not even normal wheat chapati at 2pm. We requested for any kind of bread is okay if tandoor is not there, but that person over the counter was careless about his service and he simply let us walk away without having meal.

Customer experience has to be improved a lot.......
